Fine from private parking company asking for full card details

how can we find out if poster has two id's as people have suggested. maybe lac is paying his own 'fines' so he gets cash flow?0

although it might not be a fine, after using their services willingly they can bill you -> the cost of a ticket.
if you dont pay, they can charge "interest". i dont know if there is a limit on the percentage, but, theoretically, they could just go ahead and put an 1000% interest per month on that. food for thought.0 -
Certainly not a good idea to give scammers your card number, is it? Personally I have a prepaid credit card which I just load when it is going to be used. That way no-one can get any more than what I have agreed to pay.
But I don't think the OP is likely to be paying them now anyway.0 -

Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

The OP has not returned since the last of his posts yesterday and he was only here for an hour and twenty minutes. We might have scared him away.My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
OP, all you owe the landowner is the cost of parking. If it was £1 for an hours parking and you were there for 1 hour you would owe them £1.
No private parking company has a right to demand penalties from other people, they can only claim losses.0
