DO NOT send them anything. DO NOT enter into any correspondence with them. They do not know who you are, so why let them know. Ignoring them completely is the only way to go. You do not need to justify your actions or inactions to them or anyone else.0 -
Courts issue fines....oh it's been mentioned. Does the "PARKING CHARGE NOTICE" say the word "fine" on it anywhere? No...didn't think so. Put the notice in bin and move on with life and ignore the threatening letters. They can't do anything.:footie:

Go ahead and report him. I am surprised he is still here after the number of reports that have gone in. Perhaps the people upstairs are on holiday.
Also "spam" every post he has made. Some have disappeared as a result.
Being a parking company person, giving out misleading information is second nature to him, though.0 -

You haven't been given a fine. And it is your duty to your fellow motorist to escape paying it. So we WANT you to sound like you are trying to avoid paying it, as you never had any need to pay it in the first place. It is a SCAM, FAKE... comprende?0 -

if you havent already guessed it is not a fine.
if you want to clear your conscience, and do the right thing then pay them the price of a standard ticket for the time that you parked in their car park, that is how much you owe them.
all this talk of court cases is stuff and nonsense, as long as you do the right thing., once you have made the offer to pay up what you owe (the cost of a ticket for the time that you overstayed/parked in a pay car park) that should be the end of it, if they reject your offer then you have done all thats needed.
If its a pay and display car park, you should pay the going rate for parking, you should not see it as a private pay car park - dont have to pay cos its unenforcable. Likewise out of common courtesy you should not park in disabled/reserved spaces, or cause an obstruction.
As for putting the boot on the other foot, you should go for the PPC and the landowner for harrasment whenever possible, this shouldnt be seen as a way to make money, but a way to get the PPC ejected form the car park, if you do receive any money form this, then it would be fair to reclaim your costs, and then donate the rest to a charity. From the Plain Language Commission:

We should also explore does he have two accounts, One to ask for advice and one to offer it ?
Looks dodgy to me....Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

No - The less contact you have now, the sooner the scam will end.
What you can do to help everyone is to get all the letters scanned and depersonalised, then contact Crabman to see about getting them added added to the letter chain thread here. That way, you will help anyone else scammed by them who pitches-up here.0 -

Me too, the poster seems not to get it and rambles on about a fine whilst prolonging the thread and then LAC appears like some unwanted rash.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

He's been the unwanted rash on quite a few posts, more people need to report him. Not convinced he and the OP of this thread are one and the same. For a kick-off he wouldn't have chosen an obscure company who are not even BPA members. I just think the OP is a little dippy.
Hey, if he doesn't want to avoid his fine, let him pay it! You cannot save people from themselves.
