Thank you..I needed to make sure!
I am still a pro seller actually as someone (was it you?) a few pages ago explained that even if I didn't sell the full 30 books a month I was still paying very little overall for the convenience of not having to relist every 60 days, and also not paying the 83p per book meant I could price match other pro sellers and sell mor ebooks in the long run.
As it turned out despite having my account on holiday settings for 4 days this month I still sold 33 books, so am well pleased. Actually, I always find I do sell a few as soon as I switch my holiday settings on and off....don't know why.
I have three more to despatch today, all sold last night so am doing quite well at the moment, may it last :jI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Ok this is a bit complicated so please bear with me!
I sold a book the other day, got it ready for dispatch when I noticed it had got some pages stuck together (dunno how that happened). As the book wasn't as described I emailed the buyer and gave them a £2 refund (book was £5.99 and the damage didn't affect the content in any way). Dispatched the book.
Now I have received an email saying I have sent the wrong book - have just checked and I have :wall: (very similar titles). The book I should've sent is fine! Buyer is returning it to me.
So - what do I do. Obviously it's my mistake, so do I just leave the refund to cover the expense to the buyer of returning the book? Or is there anything else I should do?AMAZON SELLERS CLUB MEMBER 0082 :hello:0 -

Hi Cat
I think that is the best thing to do, if I was the buyer I would be happy with the outcome.

Hi
Have any of you guys got any information on portable scanners? I've tried bookhero.com with my BlackBerry Pearl and it works well.....but just with the US Amazon site. Is there anything out there that works with the Amazon UK site?
I've read right through this post and have learnt an awful lot.....even though my eyes are now on stalks! One big thank you to you all.
By the way, what is the Amazon Sellers Club?

hello Billy,
Welcome to MSE and the Amazon thread :hello:
I can't help with the scanner, far too techno for me, I'm more a paper and pencil kinda gal. There are some technobods on the thread so I hope that they'll come and give you the info you need.
The sellers club is our club on the thread (have a look round the whole of MSE and there is a club for just about anything, the No More Pies one stands out in my mind!) it's all about mutual support - aaaaaahhh!:A but it's a club in name only, the whole thread is for mutual support.
If you'd like to join us you'll be number 88 and you must swear that you won't hold any of us responsible for you gettting sucked in and helplessly addicted to selling on Amazon0 -
Hi Billy - welcome!
Not sure many of use a scanner as the cost is a bit high to justify unless you are entering loads and loads at a time. Am sure some do though - and I remember an old discussion on one of the previous threads about them if you want to go back and do a search. The others will have to the info to their fingertips I am sure though and help you out, especially those who have and use one! They do save time entering numbers but you still have to type the description etc etc . I find I can enter numbers very fast now on the keypad anyway.
The sellers club is just an informal group of addicts sellers from here who meet mainly to commiserate on lack of sales but also to celebrate when the SF comes to call !!0
