I too have found that lots of books that I have are worth quite alot of money according to Bookfinder but unfortunately are not listed on Amazon. So I will just have to leave them to the grandchildren (got to get the children first!!) and hope that Amazon accepts them then!!

  • Hi all

I know I'm not alone, but I appear to have hit a slump with 1 sale in three days. For most of last week I was selling 2 books a day and then....nothing! The book I sold today was only 50p so I'll make some monsy on posatge because it was a small paperback.

I get a sense that some of you are demotivated at the moment, I certainly am. When you're selling three or four books a day on a regular basis, the buzz is definitely there and you feel like you're really doing the business. But when it's like this you feel like you can't be bothered. I'm sure things will pickup though, it's just a glitch caused by climate change or something.

I tried putting a few titles on Play.Com two weeks ago but haven't had a bite. Some of them were new titles that I couldn't get onto Amazon (and still can't) for some reason.I guess you've got to put quite a few titles on to make it work.

    Ho Hum.

I've hit an all time low on Amazon, 8 sales in 7 days - nearly 4000 listed. On Play I've sold 21 in 7 days - only 1500 listed. The missing 2500 wouldn't list during a bulk upload as the ISBN's could not be found automatically.

What I did was the equivalent of a pro-seller bulk upload on Amazon, it's only slightly different on Play but you do have to be a pro-seller as well.

I changed my password for my amazon's seller account tonight, and now i have no listings and no feedback score. Where f*ck have they gone?

Is your amazon seller account password the same as your regular amazon password?

My worst week ever - 3 in 7 days :(
Still, sold one today even if it is an extra heavy one which will cost a fortune to send. What with that and the buyer of our house pulling out last minute - I think I'll be glad when May starts!!! Gives me more time to get rid of a few more books I suppose though it isn't much consolation!!!

I have noticed that according to Amazon the number of books I have listed keeps changing. I yesterday it 533, last week it was 463 and before that 433. I haven't listed any for a long time - so why do they disappear then reappear?

Has anyone else had this happen?
