Amazon has picked up for me in the past week or so as well. I've sold 3 books today.

I do find though like Jo_B says that recently listed stuff turns over quickly, for every 10 items I sell that I listed in the past 3 weeks I probably sell only 1 older than that.

  • Thanks for your advice

I've just collected a bundle of books which was a charity donation over load for St Helen's they had a sign in their window! So I've done a bit for charity there!
A few books look ok got about 1000 maybe that will boost me a bit!

Does anyone sell anything else on Amazon apart from books?

I see you can sell electricals and dvds. Is it worth listing a few from my collection?

    Hi Nicci

I have books, cd's, videos and cassettes listed. I haven't sold any videos or cassettes, but have sold some books and quite a few cd's. At least the cd's don't take up much room, unlike the books!!

Yes, like 'put them together puzzles' :rotfl:

I haven't got any for sale at the moment, last one I sold was: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0006D39G8/203-2824282-7539960 for £11.00

    I've also sold: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ravensburger-Puzzle-Europe-Maps-Puzzles/dp/B0006NM9SM/ref=sr_1_35/203-2824282-7539960?ie=UTF8&s=kids&qid=1177798808&sr=1-35

Embarassingly BOTH of them had previously sold on Ebay and I had forgotten to delist on Amazon, I had to source one from Ebay (fortunately still made a nice profit) and another from an online puzzle shop (only just made a profit on that one).

    Must remember to delist

I've been listing some books for a co-worker of my OH. Wondered if anyone had any experience of this and what percentage you keep if you do this?

The books were very smokey so had to fumigate them all and some needed a bit of cleaning up but quite a few have sold well.

I was wondering what to keep after I take off postage, fees and packaging costs?
