Morning all
Another lovely day - spent a couple of hours digging at the allotment yesterday, but have been told to stop as you damage the soil structure if you dig it wet !
Down to Aldi today, and then decluttering and Ebay listing later. Made HM pizza yesterday, and it was lovely - I can't believe how easy it was, I even made the bases in the BM.
Being naughty tonight and going to the chip shop for tea, luxuryYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Morning everyone
Smokybabe, I love those pictures :A THe picture Chez Racy is remarkably similar to the picture Chez Smoky :rotfl:
N9eave, I'm glad to hear your daughter is recovering, scary stuff! I's horrible when diabetes control goes haywire because of an infection. What is so awful is feeling it happen and knowing that there is not a darned thing you can do about it, (((hugs))) to her.
I've a long weekend this weekend :j :j :j Loads of stuff to do but a lot of it is nice stuff. I'm waiting for my new curtain pole to be delivered today, so will have a cleaning session while I wait for it, then the fun of trying to put it up will begin :rotfl:
I've not been able to keep up with the daily yet this week and it looks as if I've missed loads! So I'm off to catch up, in the meantime (((hugs))) and positive thoughts to all who would like them.
:wave:My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

Morning all,
And what another glorious day it is. I've got my windows open letting the sunshine and fresh air in. To think I thought Scotland was going to be cold & wet.
Off to get the computer looked at this morning. Nothing all that exciting to report.
MrsMixBut glad your'e staying :T
Racy Have fun doing your new pole dancing routines.

Morning everyone
I am just off to collect the car (had its MOT yesterday and I didn't realise the time until the garage was closed!)
Lunch with an ex-colleague today which will be nice as I haven't seen her since Christmas.
I need to gen up on my OU as I have a tutorial tomorrow and I haven't been studying that course at all (I am doing two courses at the moment and the other one has taken over a bit).
Got to dig something out for dinner tonight - don't know what I fancy.... think it might be a steak and kidney pie (filling is in the freezer and I have cheated for once and bought some ready made pastry)
Bit of an unexpected weekend at OH's - the tutorial is just down the road so pointless going back to mine as its the other side of the county, just to drive back here again tomorrow. Never mind, the freezer is packed to the gunnels so probably just as well!
Better get set.
Have a great day everyone - and a great weekend - forecast is sun all weekend here! Yippee!!!Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

pen-pin so glad the cleaner turned out as you expected.

My OH searched for a poem for me :
A Parting Prayer
Dear Lord, please open your gates
and call St. Francis
to come escort this beloved companion
across the Rainbow Bridge.
Assign him to a place of honour,
for he has been a faithful servant
and has always done his best to please me.
Bless the hands that send him to you,
for they are doing so in love and compassion,
freeing him from pain and suffering.
Grant me the strength not to dwell on my loss.
Help me remember the details of his life
with the love he has shown me.
And grant me the courage to honour him
by sharing those memories with others.
Let him remember me as well
and let him know that I will always love him.
And when it's my time to pass over into your paradise,
please allow him to accompany those
who will bring me home.
Thank you, Lord,
for the gift of his companionship
and for the time we've had together.
And thank you, Lord,
for granting me the strength
to give him to you now.
Very touching, and emotional, I sobbed for ages!
Off to work soon, DD still complaining her throat hurts. She had the option to stay at home, but decided to go to school, and then she cried when she got in the class. The teacher will ring if need be! I just hope it is a sore throat and nothing like bullying we had before.
Right best be off
Take care all
