Morning. This site is giving me problems today. Lots of glitches and no pages etc. I know they have issues as there are too many of us, but it is a little frustrating.
I spent most of the night in hospital. My daughter was taken in with diabetic keytone acidosis. Basically her diabetes had gone heywire due to a chest infection and she needed drips and antibiotics by IV. She should be OK and maybe out today or Sat. Scarey as one time before she almost died of it. When I turned up I met an old school friend who used to be my best mate. Our birthdays are 1 day apart and I have not seen him for years. He is now the unit manager. It's surprising how fast you can get treatment in hospital these days. :D:D .
Back there this morning. The car parks are a bit annoying though. £10 all day, what a rip off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. They started charging once the trust got into deficit. Now motorists of sick relatives are bailing them out... It sucks!! At least the treatment is free I suppose (well Nat ins besides).
Nurses do a great job. Thanks to all you NHS staff out there:T :T

    Good morning everyone,

scuzz - hope your mum feels better soon xx

Blairweech - sorry you had a bad night, at least OH realised he was being paranoid, hope things will be better for the weekend xx

Mrs mix - not sure what happened, but glad you are still here!!!!

Well, i have my computer back and its virus free!!! HURRAH, and all my photos are still on it, so EXTRA HURRAH!!! Mind you, all my windows stuff has disapeared, but i dont have the disks to reload it (computer given to me) so will have to have a word with LOs dad who did it for me, and hopefully he will be able to find the disks for me and then i can be up and running properly.

No major plans today, last day with the 2 older ones, as they now have a school place, and should be starting either Monday or Tuesday, and also have my 2 normal LOs. Have promised we would make biscuits today, so will be popping over to the recipe thread to see what child friendly ones i can find.

Also have more washing to do, and i still need to clean the kitchen floor - think i will do that later when my 2 are at their club tonight, much easier when no one is here to muck it up as soon as its done!!!

Right, need to get on before they all start arriving.

Hope everyone has a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Good Morning All

Blairweech - hope you are feeling better and things sort out.
N9eav - (((hugs))) for your daughter.
Catowen - I cant bear to be without my pc - I get withdrawal symptons

Hi to everyone else & (((hugs))) if needed.

Cleaned house from top to bottom yesterday but it appears to have poured with rain in the night and the puppy has covered my kitchen floor with mud so that is a job for today. DD's parent evening went well and she is doing well so that is very pleasing. Couldnt beleive how young most of the teachers are.

Will take the puppy on the school run today then walk on to the post office. Come back and wash kitchen floor then have a riding lesson booked for 11. Paperwork probably when I come home.

Got the price for the kitchen, it is more than we thought but we have more than doubled the cupboards so that was to be expected. Am now juggling figures so can get it done asap.

Thats it for today, nothing that interesting Im afraid.

    Have a great day.

Nothing much going on here today apart from taking my parents shopping again. I'm so exhausted by it all I am taking a break until Monday morning when I will hopefully have some energy back again.

    morning everyone,

((((big hugs)))) blairweech and N9eav and anyone else who needs one.

Playing a waiting game with the vets, I suppose no news is good news. But my poor cat, I really hope he's okay. He wouldn't let them examine him, hissing and spitting - he's never like that normally, hes a big softie! They couldn't give any diagnosis, just that hes definately had some kind of trauma, but they'll check him over today, after dosing him up and putting him on a drip. I can't believe how we all feel, it seems really strange - we lose people and that makes an impact, but this seems just as bad, worrying about something thats like a member of the family. The girl cat is moping around looking for her brother - its so sad.

Sorry for going on guys, I know there are more important things happening for you.

Anyhow still got to go to wo*k today so best get off. Hope everyone has a good day,

    bbxx

    Morning everyone

Pen-Pin looks like your cleaner worries are over. ;)
blairweech glad your OH realised how unreasonable he was being.
mrs mix again, I don't know what happened. I thoroughly enjoyed your quiz yesterday for as long as I was able to sit upright (my balance is affected by this blooming cold). Glad you've decided to stay.
scuzz I always found that it was those nights I dreaded most that actually seemed to be some of the best. You will tell us who the celeb is, won't you?
N9eav glad to hear your DD is doing well. It must have been so worrying for you.

Well, my hearing is still muffled, my throat is sore and my nose is now shining like a belisha beacon. Still, I have to go into work today as I will be the only person there. Boss returns on Monday.:j

DD is playing in a tag-rugby tournament today and I have been volunteered to be chaffeur to some of the players. Not really looking forward to standing pitch-side in a cold wind for 90 mins or so but it has to be done - it is the mother's code after all. ;)

Glad it's Friday and looking forward to a weekend of doing not very much as DS and DD are with XDH this weekend.

((((hugs)))) to all who need or want them. xx

    Morning all

It's a lovely morning here, got the windows open, blowing the dust around:D . I've got the morning off as I have to go to the dentist. I know I need LOTS done - so wish me luck.

:T to the new cleaner Pen-Pin, oh how I would love one of those.

Morning Smokey - love the pics

Have a good night out Amie

    Donny-gal - have a coffee for me.

Mrs Mix- don't stop posting. That's an order!;)

Taplady - enjoy your coffeeshop trip. I've always wanted to visit Ludlow, it sounds like a lovely place.

Blairweech - so glad your DH saw sense. Be careful. Exs can be devious.

Sounds like you had a great day SkyStar

Hugs to your mum Scuzz. Enjoy the dinner party. I know what you mean about not knowing anyone, but hey, they don't know you.

N9eav- hope your daughter feels better. that all sounds a bit frightening.

DLB- you've inspired me to start sortingphotos out. Trouble is they're not on the computer, they're in a big basket at the bottom of the stairs. I know I should throw most of them out, but it's soooo hard.

Good news on the pooter Catowen. It can be nervewracking waiting to see what's left.

Essex-Girl., that's it, I'm jealous. New Kitchen. I neeeeed one - no it's not a want it's definitely a need. Ours is falling apart. Trouble is the things are so bloomin' expensive. I am now a kitchen obsessive tho. I inspect everyone I see.

Tiredmum - hope you don't have to wait too long for MFI.

    Moggins- have a break.

Bargain Babe - hope the cat's ok.

Hi to anyone else who sneaked in while I was typing.

Off to meal plan and generate shopping list.

    Take care all

    Morning! :hello:

Hope all is well, ((((Hugs)))) to all who need them

Mrs Mix - I too am glad you are staying, don't know what happened but don't let it get you down (((hugs)))

Moggins - You need to rest love you have been on one heck of a roller coaster ride this last week! (((hugs)))

TM - Thinking of you too also going through similar (((hugs)))

I got to the gym yesterday and managed 12 lengths! I am only allowed 15 mins in the water and last week did 10 lengths so a small improvement! I didn't need to splash anyone Shez as I made a point of going up and talking to them (was feeling brave :D) so hopefully problem solved. Very achey today but hope to go again tomorrow.

We had some sad news yesterday, one very special lady died, she was in her 80's but her smile would light up a room! Some people are just very special and she will be missed.

Well need another :coffee: before I get on
