    Been to dentist.

He thinks I need root canal on one tooth, plus 3 other fillings, and I know there's one he didn't mention (it's kind of at the side of the tooth at the back IYSWIM). Should I keep quiet or should I tell him?

Sooooo not looking forward to going back - got a couple of weeks to wait. Luckily I already had that day off work - what a way to spend my leave.

Just sorted DHs dinner out - made him a couple of burgers. I'm on a drunken night out with work - starting at 3. uh oh.

edit - doh since I'm out drinking I'll have to get the metro in. so basically should have left about an hour ago !!! Time management - that's me! See ya, got to dash.

    Morning All!!!

I can't read most of the pages from the daily, strange work filter says there is "!!!!!! detected" so hugs to all in need and hope all are well.

Was fuming when I got home last night, DS was tripped up by a boy (no accident) and fell against a wall. When he got up the boy tripped him up again. He also pushed in front of him in the dinner queue yesterday, when DS told the boy he couldn't the boy ignored him so DS gave up.

DS has a nasty graze on his shoulder despite wearing a polo shirt and sweatshirt and will have some nasty bruising too. I am very proud that he told us but raging inside that someone thinks they have a right to treat my lad like this. I sent DH to do the school run this morning however ;) , (Shez will tell you, DH is a !!!!!cat but looks a bit scary), so he had an unofficial word with the boy in question - something along the lines of "Don't touch my boy again" and I spoke to the school this morning, I'm waiting to speak to the head of KS2 this afternoon.

I know there are other parents on here who've had similar situations so any advice would be much appreciated.

Had a dreadful night, I had a sore throat (which had gone this morning), DH earache and DD wet the bed and had to sleep in our room.

However it's Friday!!!! :j Weekend is on it's way and the sun is shining. Think the fencing will be done tomorrow which will be nice, think I may be stripping some paintwork and planting seeds in between washing, baking a cake for my sister and playing with the sprogs.

Dinner tonight is wild mushroom risotto and choc fudge pudding (special treat for DS - he loves it)

    Have a lovely weekend all!!!

I would hazard a guess that that's AussieLass's fault for describing her husband getting out of the shower :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    The Golfers

A man staggered into a hospital with a concussion, multiple bruises, two black eyes, and a five iron wrapped tightly around his throat. Naturally, the Doctor asked him, "What happened to you?

"Well, I was having a quiet round of golf with my wife, when at a difficult hole we both sliced our balls into a cow pasture. We went to look for them and while I was looking around I noticed one of the cows had something white at its rear end. "

" I walked over, lifted its tail, and sure enough, there was a golf ball with my wife's monogram on it - stuck right in the middle of the cow's !!!!.

Still holding the cow's tail up, I yelled to my wife, "Hey, this looks like yours!' "

    "I don't remember much after that ..."

Was it Opal mints? According to this webpage they later changed their name to Pacers.

The painting's finally finished........I don't care if I never see another bit piece of masking tape ever again! Just going to wash down all the cupboards and put the room back together.

Curry for tea tonight and then I need to get organised for going away. I still feel a bit funny about going away without the children but I'm sure they'll be fine and we're only a 40 minute drive away.

    Have a good weekend everyone.
