Tell me about it. Cooper is just the opposite, in spite of having been there for 2 ops now he gets so excited when we go. He loves seeing the nurses, they all make a fuss of him and he thinks the vet is playing with him when he tries to examine him.

Oh yes! when we were waiting in the vets today, 2 beautiful rescue dogs were brought in. They love going to the vets - fab day out for them!!! Such sweet wee dogs - whatever they have been through previously that is all behind them, they have a wonderful new mum and we could tell that they were much loved in new home. Sooooo lovely to see. :D xxx

They are not dissapearing once you have entered them, so you have to try and remember what you have entered for..lol

i find it simpler to put
whatsontv in the search & all the comps will come up, can then click on the ones in date & enter from the ops postings :j or just follow them through on page 2 of pcl's daily listings :j

    Hey everyone.:)

I just ordered some food from American Soda. :D When we went to Florida, I fell in love with Milk Duds and DH fell in love with Twinkies so I decided to treat him and myself.

It's what the baby wants. :p

Had a phone call from British Gas - they cancelled my service in May and gave me a July appointment but phoned today to say they could do it in half an hour. It wasn't very handy as they have to get under floor in DD's room to clean filter but I agreed so at least it is done now. Becks and Wingo please note I got the lovely fit engineer! DD has nearly forgiven us for disrupting her room, infact engineeer nearly got offered a piece of her school made shortbread! :rotfl:

It's a real pain when you fall in love with something like that abroad. My Daughter absolutely loved a soft drink she had in Malta, I was over the moon when I found it available on Amazon and was able to surprise her with it. She buys me American sweets for Christmas online too, peanut butter M & Ms and Reece's pieces, yum.

indie - thanks for the info , will enter them all now

Lady Morticia - I tried Twinkies last month for the first time, there was a stall selling them and other American treats at Abergavenny Market. I wasn't that keen on them tbh, but Dh would do anything for Reeses Peanut butter cups :rotfl:

EDIT: you just reminded me about falling in love with food abroad. When we were in France a few years ago we discovered white chocolate covered Oreos, when we returned to France last year we came back with a case full of 12 boxes of them! Not all for us I hasten to add, but for DH's collegues who all wanted to try them too!
They are incredibly sweet, but oh so yummy!

    Oh yum!

I'm not usually that keen on food, but when I am, it's sweet things. During the early stages of pregnancy, my sweet tooth completely went but it's coming back now. :D

I thought I'd be a lovely wife and treat my husband (and I wanted some Milk Duds, dammit! :rotfl:).

I'm not that enamored with Twinkies either but DH loves them! I ordered some Smores Pop Tarts too. I wish we had Klondike bars over here. They are lovely!

    White Oreos?! OMG!

Just noticed that you can get the white choc oreos on Amazon:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/German-Oreo-Biscuits-Covered-Chocolate/dp/B006YMN0PK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1340386793&sr=8-1

Bit more expensive than we were paying as we were getting 2 packs for about £3 as they were on offer at the local supermarket.

Just been having a nosey on that American Soda website - OMG that site will do neither my diet nor my purse any good :rotfl:
