Wish I had done a Mary Poppins now - could have got home quicker!! :D

"Feed the birds, tuppence a bag, tuppence, tuppence, £3.00 something a bag!". Just stocked up for my little feathered friends - love seeing them in the garden and all the chicks too - could watch them for hours - kitten likes watching them too(luckily from inside the patio doors).

Not to put a damper on things .............. but isn't today the longest day and then the nights start drawing in again? :D:D

We had the same problem with a Carbon Monoxide alarm - I was heavily pregnant at the time and the alarm went off in what was to become the nursery at 3 in the morning . I went into panic mode, thinking the house was on fire, until we realised where the alarm was coming from.
The problem was it wasn't just beeping, it was a loud shrieking buzzer (it sounded like those personal attack alarms) that could not be turned off.
DH ended up getting dressed, heading out to the garage and getting his tool box. After trying to take the thing apart we ended up smashing the thing to bits with a hammer - all at 3am:eek:, don't know what the neighbours thought:rotfl:.

Got my Garnier BB cream freebie this morning. Hoping it's better than the 17 stuff which gave me horrible greasy skin.

Should probably tidy up before mum gets back.

    Morning everyone,

Still raining here! O'h well 2 weeks tomorrow we will be off to Menorca so hopefully we will see the sun then. DD has about 8 new bikinis to show off so we had better (no I'm not exagerating)
Glad your DD is enjoying the dancing wingo, mine does too but there is hardly ever anything on here.
Wonder if the postman will be earlier today.
