Allow me
This saying originated with the win of Larry Foley.
He was a prize fighter, the last of the 'straightback fighters.
NSW champion, before prize fighting was legal.
He won the biggest prize of the time 100,000 dollars.
With this money, he set up the first Boxing Academy in Sydney.
Everyone at the time referred to this as 'Happy as Larry'.
His belt can be found in the Sports Center at Homebush in Sydney.
The belt is about a foot wide, covered in medallions.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

:T Thank you! Always wondered!Actually kitten could possibly match him! She was a prize fighter this morn when I was trying to get her into the !!!!! cat crate before vet appointment. Claws out and determined that she wasnt going anywhere near the vets!!!! However, I carried on and after a struggle, got her in! Looks like i have been self harming lol - few scratches up the arms.!! Bless her tho, she didnt understand and at the vets, she was the perfect patient!!!! Made me look a right wally!!!:o Anyhow, shes a happy soul now and gave me a cuddle, so guess im forgiven!! All is well. xxx

That's good to hear. One of our past dogs was a bu**er at the vets and unfortunately she had the kind of claws that didn't wear down they just grew very long and had to be clipped. She made a 5 minute job into a 20 minute ordeal and my OH came out with his chest looking like a map of the underground he had so many scratches.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Oh yes! We had the same problem with our doggie now sadly departed. His claws were the same and he squealed and cried and was a right diva!!!! They knew him well god bless him. Thankfully we had a wonderful vet who had known him from a wee pup. However, he was fine but i was totally stressed out!!! Worse than going to the dentist to my mind.!!!! xxxMILITARY WIVES CHOIRSHELP for HEROES0 -
Tell me about it. Cooper is just the opposite, in spite of having been there for 2 ops now he gets so excited when we go. He loves seeing the nurses, they all make a fuss of him and he thinks the vet is playing with him when he tries to examine him.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams
