    Morning everyone

Thanks for all your birthday wishes for yesterday. Although I was working I had a nice day and am looking forward to going out tonight.

Postie has brought me two more book wins - one from Waterstones FB page and one from Quercus publisher's FB page - Quercus only ran the comp on Monday so was surprised to receive it today. This brings my 2012 book total to 91!

Sorry you've got a headache Becks, I'm often the same way when I have time off work. They're stress headaches, but I seem to get them just after the stress is over rather than when I'm most stressed. Haven't had one for a while though - touch wood.

That was a great example of bargain hunting Sue - it's very satisfying when you do something like that.

When I was reading The Times at breakfast I noticed that they'll be doing 2 more hourly comps this weekend - both to win a Samsung Galaxy Note.

Have posted what info I can and will add the entry links etc when they're available -

E: 16/06 9pm Win a Samsung Galaxy Note every hour with The Times

E: 17/06 9pm Win a Samsung Galaxy Note every hour with The Times
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/....php?t=4016085

There are always some MSE winners for these Times comps so definitely worth doing, even if you can't do every hour.

It's the one they posted on 10 June "The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making". It's a kids/early teen one but looks good.

I review the kids ones and then pass them on to my friend's 13-year-old daughter as she goes through more books that they can afford to buy.
  • I got the Weird sisters from Waterstones today. Finally finished the Portrait of a spy one, which wasn't my favourite, and have just reviewed it, and have got one called something like The empty classroom to do next.

Was thinking of setting up a Waterstones book club review thread in the Inn, what does anyone think? Or is there already something similar?

Morning all, it's a lovely sunny day here today, makes a change from rain. Our area still has a hosepipe ban though.

Thanks for the heads up Suemaggie, must try to remember those.

I don't envy the BGs at the moment, so many comps being duped or wrongly posted. I know we must be especially nice to newbies but it's not rocket science is it? Call me cynical but so many of them are Facebook comps that are almost certainly self promotion too. It's amazing how they've always 'stumbled across' them. Rant over :o
