Really must do some comps tonight. Been so obsessed with buying wedding stuff that i am really behind on comps. Don't think ive truly caught uo from break away in april (and its showing)

No he has plenty of money Becks! He hasn't even spent a load of his birthday money yet. It is more likely he wants to go to some party or other.

Bit annoyed tonight has had an email from the company i ordered chocolates from for my favours to say one of my colour choices was out of stock... Gave me a list of alternatives none of which were anywhere close to my choice (chosen obviously for a colour scheme) have told them to cancel whole order as half of it is no good to me. It wouldnn't have hurt them though to ut on their website what was unavailable ... Would have saved them a disappointed customer. Have to have a rethink now. Plenty of foil hearts in the right colour but was reluctant to have hearts as the soaps are heart shaped and dont want some silly drunk person getting them muddled up :rotfl:

Morning all,

Another lovely day now the mist has cleared from the river. Loving this weather! No Ullswater Cruises today I'm afraid, would have loved to stay there the night although it did look like everywhere was full. Don't expect we will back to the Lakes until Sept now as it gets too busy in the Summer.
Going to get my hair trimmed this morning as it is getting out of control.

Well i am now walking around in these shoes to see whether I think they will be comfy enough to wear on the wedding day and all evening for the party the week after :rotfl: so refreshing to have a delivery company that email you with an expected delivery time and it arrive in that 1hour slot


Waiting for postie now to see if he brings anything nice

Loving this sunshine! I asked hubby if he wanted to go out somewhere but he's 'playing' in the garage with his tools! (men and their toys! )

It's lovely here too, shouldn't complain but the pots and lawn are so dry and we have a hosepipe ban so it means lugging water around in cans. The water butts must be nearly empty by now.

Glad you're getting everything sorted Becks. I must admit I don't think I've been to a wedding with favours, I suppose that's another American thing that's working its way in over here. Seems to be a lot of cost and more stress for you though.

I made my own favours on my wedding. Made some lace bags with ribbon and almonds inside with a little verse. I only bought the almonds as I had the rest in the house!

It hasn't cost me too much really as have ebayed a lot of bits and pieces. MIL paid for my magnets too as wanted something personal for people to remember the day.

Got an appointment sat 2nd June to try on dress. Wanted to go this saturday as was going to chester shopping on 2nd but no appointments left this sat and mum can't really meet me another day to come with me

Dress shopping is so exciting Becks! I cried when I found mine then grinned like a loon for days!
