I have been comping through MSE since 2004. There are massively more entries for comps now, but there are a lot more comps and many of the promoters are offering generous prizes. In 2007 I had a continuous stream of small prizes such as books/dvd/shampoo etc and would often have 2/3 items per day. A bad week was less than 4! However I now get less prizes more big prizes. I am posting just now from a very luxurious hotel in Mayfair where I have won a two night stay
Sadly just waiting for dd to dry hair and then checking out, but its been fab.

Would it be possible for a website to know you are using Roboform?
Short of having a script timing how long it takes to key in your details, would it be feasable?
I know some sites just don't work with roboform, but find it hard that they could disqualify for just saving time when there are other options as well.
Yes they can tell. See the monthly Easiyo comp where it will reject your entry as a 'bot' if you use Roboform, but in general, Roboform is not regarded as an 'automated' entry - it fills in the form but you still have to manually click to enter.
Also of interest is the monthly Bears4U comp. Look carefully at the email they send you confirming your entry. It clearly shows the IP address you entered from and the page URL you clicked from to get to the entry form. If you went directly to the entry form from MSE they would be able to tell that you haven't actually "found the bear" on their site.0 -
And those you haven't please? Or if not, is this a feature that could be considered please?
(sorry I posted this in the wrong forum...thank you for moving it!)0 -

Not sure of the answer and I think it is a good idea but I believe this should be in discussion time rather than in the competition thread - not sure how to move though so hopefully a board guide will do that.
Wow someone moved it as I posted my comment!! Quick0 -

Do you mean where all the comps you've entered would be grouped together and all the comps you haven't would be too? So all the green ticks would be together etc?2019 Wins

I'm currently unable to post competitions due to PC issues so if anyone spots any from my usual sites please post them.
Normal service should resume tomorrow :-)0
