I won this competition last month, well a similar one, but it was for £250 and 2 tickets to see Mcintyre, i received a text saying i had won, and to send details in, now ive been chasing the tickets and money for 3 weeks as they keep saying they have sent them and others have confirmed but nothing received my end
Just looked at the Original post - 3rd post down and see that Smafer has had a problem with a previous win - got the e-mail but no tickets - so maybe the Comp organisers have a little admin problem?
Sorry can't help you in your dilemma!I love straight forward people, makes life ten times easier.0 -
You are clearly a nice and honest person, or you wouldn't have posted about it
If it was me I would contact whoever was running the comp and just explain what you explained here. Hopefully, they'll say to keep the tickets regardless, but at least they will know to do something if there is a winner out there waiting for a prize that won't turn up.
Good luck and I'm totally jealous if you get to see 'The King' - as we call him.I am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apology
THIS IS ME!

I see on the emails from MSE the headline is
"I won £26k worth of gadgets" which leads to MSE and explains how to enter and win....
I know why I don't win far too many people entering these comps so the odds are liking winning on the lottery nowadays
Probably that and I don't enter enough comps - only manage time for about 20 a day I'm amazed some can enter 100's a day though but I guess it only takes one entry to win
Thanks to all that take the time to post on here0 -

I have no doubt about it that the odds of winning these days is far far less than it was just a couple of years ago.
It will soon be a waste of time rather than a well paid hobby.0 -
Hi, is there a list of companies that disqualify users of Roboform?Jan:£500 Cottage,TNA tix,Vodka party.Feb:Starwarstix,Tshirt,Hammerfest,
GreedyGourmet,Bareminerals,Tea.Mar:Vancouver hols,Forkmag.21 Jump tix,HDaz launch,vits,South Pacific&hotel,Makeup,beads,Jar.Apr:3D TV,ipad,sky.May:Kew gig,bag,soap,baby stuff.Jun:Hyde Park gigJul:food fest.Aug:Fitness retreat, choc workshop.Sep:0 -
Not that I know of.I think the instances are exaggerated personally.
Plus it may be a bit commercially sensitive to be open re opposing the use of Roboform.
I'll pm dalkirst to move this to discussion is that's ok.0 -
Keep at it, you've got to be in it to win it. My Daughter went to New York last year, she was in York for a Spa Weekend last week, she's off to Memphis in September, Grenada in April and has £1,800 of Spa Vouchers to spend in the next 6 months. All from wins and she probably does less than 30 comps on average per day. It's all blind luck. You can enter hundreds and win nothing or a few and win a lot of them.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Would it be possible for a website to know you are using Roboform?
Short of having a script timing how long it takes to key in your details, would it be feasable?
I know some sites just don't work with roboform, but find it hard that they could disqualify for just saving time when there are other options as well.0 -
I think more are entering online comps at the moment, for various reasons.
As barnabysue states just keep entering. The odds are better than the lottery, its free & each comp is a new set of odds.
Lottery may be 14,000,000 to 1 whilst a big comp on here may be 60,000 to 1 at a guess :-)
I won my first big comp prize back in 2008.I entered very few,did not use Roboform as I had not heard of it & had not used MSE comps.New Yorks was great :-)0
