I apologise in advance if I am in the wrong place to ask the following question.
Where do I find the Xperia phone comps where you can win the phone and not need a smartphone in the first place.
Thank youComping from May 2012
Thank you to all that post & contribute, I think you are wonderful, I could not achieve without your help0 -
I think you can also send a free postcard from this site. http://samsungsharegreatmoments.touchnote.com/, i did once anyway, not sure how many times you're allowed a free postcard though...hope this helps..:)
EDIT: Sorry, just looking on the site, says 'available for free till 31 August 2012'..:)0 -
Hellooo..
really simple question but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere on MSE.
I own a small website - I get prizes to giveaway by nice, usually also small companies.
Why is it that I can't let the MSE community know of these comps? Surely I'm doing a favour - my site is small - I don't get lots of entries so it means more chances for a MSE member to win something nice.
There's no actual explanation on here (that I can find) as to why it is banned. I also believe I now can't ask another member to post the comp info. Why such aggressive banning tactics?
My site is too small to be discovered by members (I only get about 100 hits a day) so it's not like a big company comp or I'm profiting from it.
Just thought it would be nice to let members know of my monthly comps, that's all
cheers anyway0 -
Unfortunately the rules do state:
9. No Advertising Of Own Websites. This site is free from advertising. Posts on any board considered to be advertising goods, services and/or companies will be removed. This includes the posting of a competition from your own site or from a site that you are employed by. We also do not allow advertising via PM. Examples of this can include anything from a specific sales post or a link to your own website in which you attempt to sell something to someone offering their holiday home to forum members. Unfortunately we cannot allow any advertising of any description no matter how honourable the intention.
Your intentions are innocent, but still not allowed, sorry.

ah see but there's where I'm not putting two and two together - i'm not advertising anything - goods, services or companies - I'm not a Ltd co - I have no advertising on the site - it's purely a blog if you will. It earns no revenue what so ever. I'm just sharing a comp because I don't think people on this board would find the site themselves.
It just seems a shame that MSE members are losing out on some great giveaways because you think i'm a company or I'm advertising - which i'm doing neither. Boo!!0 -

Try other comp sites, Loquax or prize finder, both should entertain your comp, their rules are different.

Hi
Sorry if Im on wrong thread. I do competitions when time allows but notice that a lot are now on Facebook or Twitter. I do occasionally do on facebook but I am not a twitterer and wonder if its actually worth becoming one just for the competitions. I must admit I need idiots guide to twitter. Any hep appreciated.
I have won a few small things but when my kids were small I won enough for them to have some great birthday/christmas presents but they were mainly postcard magazine entries0 -
Im not great with Twitter either but they are easy comps to enter. If you get tweeted it comes to your email.. thats how i check it anyway. I think its worth having a twitter account, you dont get spam from twitter either, well i dont.
