Strangely enough it was HONEY. Thought of Honey Bee and looked up Dancing Honey, and apparently there is a series of Dancing Honey Dolls!! I couldn't clear my mind to think of anything else, but Queen is a much better fit, especially with the Jubilee themes around at the moment.

Thanks everyone for the effort. Comp will be posted in the Puzzler thread later.

I was just in the right place at the right time. only called by to see if Full house is up & running again, but glad I could help, consider it a very VERY small payback for your hard work. xx

Can anybody help with this linkword. I've got an answer that I'm not totally happy with. Now I'm fixated on it and I can't think of anything else.

    A 5 letter word links:-

    DANCING _ _ _ _ _ BEE

(eg. QUICK _ _ _ _ CASTLE would be SAND giving QUICKSAND & SANDCASTLE)

    thanks.

    Queen?

Hello, not sure if this is the correct place to post or not, but I wondered at what time of the day are all the competitions that are due to close that day, moved to Game Over. I usually enter on the closing date but they have all disappeared today.

They're done when the volunteer Board Guides have time to do them, you can search Game Over for end dates if that helps.

It's probably better to enter comps a day or two before they end Lemon-Tred, not all comps close at midnight, some may close at lunch time or 4pm etc and you would miss out. If you enter a comp a day or two before it closes then you won't have the problem of them having all gone to game over either. HTH x
