Hello all, first time posting in here so if its the wrong place just let me know!
Is anybody doing the Treasure of Camelot treasure hunt thingy or has done a treasure hunt comp before? I won free entry on their facebook page but I've no idea where to start, I'm wondering if there's any point a beginner even trying!0 -

Looking on the site, entry to the competition is free anyway but you need to buy the book in order to read the story and solve the clues, and the book costs £5.99 which is over the maximum spend threshold set for competitions so it's highly unlikely to get posted on here unless someone is willing to pay the £5.99 for the book, read it, solve it and then post the answer. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Sorry, yes, I got the book for free, wouldn't have paid £5.99 to enter!
I didn't realise there was a spend limit for the comps, thanks though.
Have there ever been other 'treasure hunt' type comps posted on here though? It seems next to impossible!0 -

Yes. There used to be a site that ran a treasure hunt every month or two and those always got posted on here and solved. They used to baffle me but some people seem to have a real knack for them and were willing to share their findings. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
