Hi all

I'm a newbie!
I've been comping for around a month, but 2 weeks solidly every day and already eexcited about potentially having a win in the next few mnths!
I downloaded the free trial of Roboform but I cant figure out how to actually use it. I entered my identity in the program but when I land on a comp form, how do I actually get it to populate the form? I accidentally didnt allow Roboform to add the toolbar, so how do I do it now?

Also, I am checking the t&cs for some comps, but out of curiosity, if the comps are for cars or holidays and you cant go, or have it, are you usually able to givie it away? Or do you forfeit? I can see some car ones say you must have a valid license in which case I am not entering, but I plan to have a license soon so is it worh entering the ones that dont say that and giving them to my dad until I can drive it?! And the hols- if I cant go, do I forfeit? Is it ever likely as well that you can add ona child as I note that most hols are for 2 people?

Hi kazaroona, welcome to the boards,
I can't help with roboform I don't use it, sorry but no doubt someone will come along to answer that for you.

As for the comps like cars or holidays I'm afraid that the simple answer is no! the promoters would state in their t&c's if you can transfer but I've never come across that. Most car competitions state that you have to have a driving licence and insurance before you can drive the car away.

Therefore if you can't drive or go on a holiday at a stated time rather than wasting your time filling in the form and then having to tell the promoter you 'can't make it' or be disappointed it's best to leave well alone.

It would be up to the promoter if you can do an 'add-on' they are usually very accommodating when you have to pay extras. So for adding a child (unless it's a couples only resort) I would generally say 'if you don't ask you won't get'.

Right click within the form and choose 'fill in'.

If you right-click the green Roboform icon in the taskbar, choose Options, Autofill, ensure that top 3 options and bottom 2 are ticked. These settings ensure that forms fill automatically.

Someone else has kindly posted a link to my husbands business photography competition page and we got lots of entries into our competition. The competition is due to close on Sunday and I wondered if there was a way to add the competition to the top one last time for people to see. Also I know I get emails is there a way for the details to be added to the emails that get sent out?

I'm afraid that self promotion is againt the rules, as is asking people to bump your competition.

You'll probably find you get a flurry of last minute entries as the people that enter by end date find your competition and enter it then .

As far as adding details on your outgoing emails is concerned, it depends who your email provider is. Have a look at mail options and you need to choose one that lets you add a signature. Quite a few compers have this set up with their contact details to make entering competitions that require your details much quicker. Do be aware tho', that they will then be on every email you send out (I think!)

I think it's the competition emails she wants it to be added to again rather than her own emails.

Please help with Rafflecopter........I am not usually so stupid but for the life of me I just dont understand how to use it.

Its probably something so simple that I cant see BUT I try to post a comment and it tells me to log on - I can see that I am logged on as it says hello to me at the top of the box......if not where do I log on !!

I dont want to go through facebook as I dont want to bug any of my friends but how on earth does this thing work...What do I do
