How are you getting on Chirpychick?
Try going on to the 4od web site, they have lots of recipes from Waste not Want Not, Superscrimpers and River cottage, The fabulous baker bros etc and all can be watched and the recipes downloaded.
I don't know what your budget is but we would all be willing to help you sort out meal plans with instructions if needed x

I wondered what mini-milks and turnkey dinosaurs were as well. Still am none the wiser.

OP, once payday comes around invest in a student-type cook-book. They're very useful because they don't require you to have any particular skills and knowledge or demand you have obscure utensils to hand. No competent adults should by buying so many ready-made sauces, and especially not white sauce and cheese sauces in a packet. Not when you have marge, four and milk , a pan and a wooden spoon in the house.

I do think this depends on what comes your way, I have a few dozen packs of instant cheese sauce, bought at a car boot for 2p each. I do add extra cheese but really couldnt begin to make this from ingrediants for anywhere near that price.

the 25th is only 10 days away so not too bad even if it seems like ages

spuds will be a huge help, if possible buy the cheapest bread and smallest amount of milk you can get buy one and get a tin or 2 of beans with the lo money so you can make baked taties with beans.

    2 x pie and mash
3 x chicken nuggets/turkey dinosaurs with mash or chips
    fishfingers and chips/mash
mac and cheese using packet/tub of chees esauce
tom pasta using any of yoru jars, just cause they say chilli ect they still work on normal pasta
veg bake using all your frozen veg threw in together with a packet of sauce
tatie bake (same as above witha few spuds)
savory nice (rice with veg and soy sauce/ketchup, really just mix a few condiments, maybe even keep back a few nuggets and chop them up in it)

you could bulk it out with jelly and custard and bread and butter pudding?

Excellent advice there, I would use the 2 pound to buy

    Sp price loaf 47
Eggs 1.00 and a tin of beans 33p.

    Hello everybody.
Bubs is looking perfect and so cute!
tonight i actually have no idea what we are having for dinner, we didnt have yesterdays plan because we ended up going to my dads and had dinner there.
It's much easier than i thought to live on what we have in the cupboards.
I do need to start getting a bit more adventurous, id like to try and make the pea risotto, could anyone tell me how to make it with regular rice?
Everything is always better after a cup of tea
