Loving your replies, nealnomoney, very funny. Don't worry, there are probably a few people reading your posts who don't need a sign to appreciate your sense of humour and irony.
What's the latest on the lost money? Hope you find it soon. In a kitchen cupboard/breadbin? Good luck!

This once happened to me and the money was in my jeans front pocket. It seemed my pockets just did not go down but up and to the side like towards my belt and it got wedged in there.
I once lost a brand new PS2 game including the box. Looked everywhere in the whole house man times. I assumed I lent it to someone as I had it a month before going to play and then 18 months later I found it in a box I kept old PS2 games. I'm sure it was one of the first places I looked but I may have picked it up with other things and not noticed it so look carefully.
Good luck. Let us know where you found it.0 -

What's in your hallway? Any hiding places?
What does your dad say you did with the rest of the money after you paid him some?
Has the lining in your handbag torn?

Well, I usually put my money to be counted (for my savings jars - like a mortgage pig) on or near my laptop.
I put the money in my jacket pocket and went upstairs to go to get a hairdryer, and went into my livingroom ( I know cos the light was on when I camw back upstairs). That's the last time I remember seeing it.

If your joking and trying to be funny will you let it be known in your posts with either smilies or blatantly saying so, when they're not included you come across immature and rude.
Thanks
Cath
Lighten up....post was clearly tongue in cheek...use of smilies is a clear sign of having to explain the obvious & over used in this forum.0 -
At the risk of sounding absolutely bonkers- Have you asked St. Anthony for his help?!:o
My mum used to swear by him and it works for me every time...... honest!!
St Anthony apparently is the patron saint of lost things or souls (who cares as long as he helps find your dosh, and please dont all go looking on google to tell me something different, I personally don't want my belief in St Ant crushed!)
So you need to ask st Anthony to help you find your money, try it before you go to bed tonight, tomorrow I bet you remember what you did with it!!!
please try it! I am approaching 40, completely sane ( honest!) and it works every time!;)0 -

Not so - lack of body langauge over the net forces the need for smilies etc to clearly convey what you mean as even the simplest thing can be misread without human contact/visuals. As shown, the other person did not understand that 'clearly' your post was tongue & cheek...;)MFW #185

I actually found it very funny but following all the recent arguements and bullying on these forums, I just thought it wouldnt do any harm to be careful, and I also didnt find it that clear as you think it was, It wasnt until the 2nd posting that it became a bit more obvious they where joking.
With lots of phrases its how you say it and not particularly what you say, adding a haha, lol, or a smilie face isnt a big request.
Back to the o/g poster, check where you keep your hairdryer or hairbrush, if its a drawer or cabinet, check underneath it and behind it
Hope you get it soon0
