Any luck? I have been lurking and I need to know if you've found it? I really hope you have, I'm always losing stuff, frustrating isn't it?!

I have to admit though this thread makes me laugh with images of you running around, tipping the house upside down and shouting for the lost money to come to you, that's what I do anyway!!:o

Really hope you have found it or find it soon! Good luck!

I once searched high and low for 2 days including getting up in the night because I was convinved that I finally knew exactly where it was but of course it wasn't there.

Finally I found itk in a jewellery box"""""

As someone else has said have a cuppa, take your mind off it and it will turn up. Have you tried the tea bag or coffe container.

Also, are you sure you have checked in the pockets of the coat you were wearing, not the one you think you did.

Good luck and a fruitfull search

    OMG I'm such an idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I had all but put it out my mind, and resigned myself to the fact that I was never going to see it again...................when I was about to leave for work, I checked the pocket of my jacket to make sure I had my cash for the can machine, when I felt a strange paper-style thing BEHIND my pocket. Hurrah, I thought, it's gone in a hole somewhere in my pocket. Well, I spent 5 MINS looking for the hole in my pocket, when I eventually found one................................................

    ANOTHER POCKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hurrah, my cash was safe in there. :j :j :j :j :j :j :j
Although I felt so stupid when I would walk into work wearing my jacket and tell everyone that I hadn't found the dosh!!!!!

Thanks so much everyone for your help..........Makes me feel so much better when I hear that I'm not the only person who loses things!!!!! :T :T :T

However, I agree with my OH when he says that I should donate my brain to medical science, so they can check if I ever had one!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Check right at the back of any draw - I lost my parking permit for 2 weeks, and eventually found it - it had jammed at the back of a draw, so when i opened the draw it looked empty - its only when i looked at the back of the cabinet that I saw it sticking out - it cost me £101 so glad I found it !!

I used to have a pass for an NCP car park and mislaid the card. The few days I had to pay, I simply faxed them the receipts I paid during the contract and was refunded in full. ;)

PS. Glad the OP found her money! I occasionally lose my wallet stuffed with cards and in a blind panic cancel them all instantly. Only to find it in the bread bin or whatever, LOL! :)
