  • Good shop for me today at Mr T's £44 off my shopping which is a personal record. Managed to find a lovely lass who just scanned for fun, bless her.
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)

I think the trick is to befriend certain staff, find out their shifts, and keep going back to them. I have a friendly till operator who's "one of us" and happily scans anything I put his way. We occasionally chat to him in the pub and let's just say he doesn't have a very high opinion of his employer! Yesterday he put through another stack of £2 off Pimms vouchers I picked up from Asda and I walked out with six bottles of wine, some Dettol and some bread rolls for a grand total of £1.75 :)
Sadly he only works part time but I try to do my shopping on Fri, Sat and Sun when he's normally there, and hence I never pay full price for anything. Long may the party continue.

    No.
I was told that in my local Tesco you can use coupons up to 50% of the total of your shopping bill :D
Plus, lots of the coupons I used were 'Tesco' ones, all others were manufacturers ones.

  • my coupon stash seems to have dried up a little lately :(
the local tesco is still taking any amount of coupons so i'm lucky in that respect, but can only find coupons with a value of under £1....

Just been to Mr T's and got told new policy is that they will only take 1 voucher (total) if you have not brought any of the products on the vouchers, and 1 voucher per item for what the voucher is for.

I spent £6 ish and could only use one voucher and she got to pick the voucher (50p).

Asked why and she said the staff had all had a talking to and that people were abusing the system and making money out of it?

The outcome is only 1 voucher/coupon per transaction if you have not brought any of the products the vouchers/coupons are for.

Thats the latest policy in my local Tescos - hope all you guys have better luck.

... myself and Mrs A went to Tesco last night as it was the last day of the H/B coupon validity. A £20 shop on make up (her, not me) & toiletries was brought down to £12 through using vouchers which all (apart from the £1 off Listerine coupon) came from H/B leaflet, QK coupons and Get Active coupons. Some of those will have been for the same item, as you know. They all beeped through fine, the SA had a check over them, but accepted them all.

£1 off Plax which was already on BOGOF.. nice one ;)

Not all stores are being strict, keep trying.
