IT IS SELFISH to people to go pver the top and abuse the coupon principle.
This will see EVERYONE suffering. Doing something for yourself in the knowledge that others may suffer is SELFISH!!!
sorry i totally dissagree. Firstly i dont ABUSE any coupon policy. I use it how tescos has told me i can. I use only in date manufacturing coupons that tesco can redeem and get a handling fee on. They are HAPPY for me to do this as i asked at CS before doing so to get the policy. I use the tescos own ones too and this too is ok. what isnt ok is the use of somerfield/sainsburys tokens. My tesco DO allow asda coupons as its right over the road from asda and take them as a loss leader in order to gain your custom. That said ive only used asdas a couple of times. My coupon use doesnt impact on anyone else and i wont stop. Its not being selfish its saving me moneyBad mother to 2!

It isn't selfish, it's moneysaving!
As long as you are using 'legit' coupons (ie, NOT Asda/Sommerfield) then it isn't a problem for Tesco as they get the money back AND a handling fee!

I.m certainly am not abusing Tesco ,I gave Tesco coupons for toiletries and healthcare, grocery coupons for the rest, just had a very nice friendly SA who didn.t seem to care how many coupons to take.I even told him to stop, but he said ,I.ll get it down as much as I can ,and was really chuffed with hisself when he said ,that will be a penny please,.
Usually I am only allowed to give ,maybe 2 coupons ,a transaction ,so was very surprised.Earnings £245 in 2014:T thanks to swagbucks0 -
it may be true about stopping coupons as my best ca said she could now only take 5 coupons at most due to new policy or staff get in trouble.
If they stop I'll just go to lidl instead0 -
When you pile your shopping onto Mr T's conveyor belt watch the person in front of you. Did they lash over a fist full of vouchers? More likely they are asked why they haven't got a clubcard. Point is that people using vouchers at Tescos are in the minority so why should they stop them. It really is a case of win some lose some. If the CA doesn't accept them or will only accept a few then just put the rest in your pocket for next time. At the moment I'm using QP and H&B vouchers in the main with the odd paper £3.50 thrown in. If tescos keep bringing out new instore vouchers then what would make anyone think that they are going to change their policy. With regards to people kicking the backside out of it or using dodgy (asda, somerfield et al) vouchers, I honestly think that the individual would be pulled rather than the whole coupon policy.0

I know all stores are different and different SA do different things but the girl who served me today took all my vouchers expect a £1 off a magazine one - she said new policy is to only take magazine/book/newspaper coupons if the item has been brought. She said as we have heard before one of all other coupons (MOCs) if you haven't brought it. I know the next 10 posts maybe reports of I have just used one but some stores may not allow it now DustyThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Just been to Mr T's and got told new policy is that they will only take 1 voucher (total) if you have not brought any of the products on the vouchers, and 1 voucher per item for what the voucher is for.
I spent £6 ish and could only use one voucher and she got to pick the voucher (50p).
Asked why and she said the staff had all had a talking to and that people were abusing the system and making money out of it?
The outcome is only 1 voucher/coupon per transaction if you have not brought any of the products the vouchers/coupons are for.
Thats the latest policy in my local Tescos - hope all you guys have better luck.0
