If I had a large budget I wouldn't be flying with BA - they are the worst airline going!

Thanks everyone. The reason to avoid Asia is that we have been there (Thailand, Hong Kong etc) so wanted something a bit different. I fancy west coast of US but not for a special trip as could do that with the kids fairly easily.

Don't have massive budget (don't know what budget I have actually) just didn't want the budget to be the contraint.

No-one has suggested India which I thought was a good idea, specifically southern india. Also thinking Safari in south africe. No cruise as my DH gets seasick.

I'd go to NZ as I have loads of family there who I never met as they emigrated before I was born, but that's probably too far. So I'd go to Peru (not been there) or Mexico, as I went there for my 50th & it was great :D

No one has mentioned India because it is an amazing country, but hard core.

To figure out if you would like India or not (and it's my favourite country) spend a day doing things the long way around.

I've always said India is a lot like getting in a car through the boot. It's a country completely devoid of common sense and logic, but is every bit as amazing as you can imagine.

Back out there again this summer, can't get enough of the place and have visited just about every place worth visiting.

Some friends of mine went to South America on a luxuryholiday. They went to the Copacabana beach in Brazil, saw the Iguazu Falls on theborder with Argentina by helicopter, visited Buenos Aires and went on the Inca trailto Machu Picchu in Peru.

It sounded absolutely amazing, and I was very jealous! :)
