If you had all the money in the world....

Personally, if I had a very large budget I would enjoy some of the expensive parts of Europe. Switzerland and Italy offer a combination of gastronomic delights, scenery, culture and history that cannot be matched elsewhere in the world, but with a price-tag that few of us can afford. Part of the point of spending lots of time and money flying to regions like Southeast Asia is that once you are there most of the costs are much lower than in Europe.0

Mauritius is always nice... there are a few touristy things to visit apart from just the beach.
Been to Chile twice and absolutely loved it; spectacular scenary and very friendly people. A tad far though. But summer there in February.
And I can never tire of Bali.
Staying away from the australian surfers or sanitised Nusa Dua, there are some incredibly beautiful hotels inland with gorgeous spas, delightful markets and a few temples you can visit.I lost my job as a cricket commentator for saying “I don’t want to bore you with the details”.Milton Jones0 -
In my experience, if you use Avios, the flights aren't free, you have to pay taxes on any flights. I used some avios for Club World flights from Beijing to London return in March and had to pay around £600 in taxes etc.
If you're set on flying BA then you're best checking the BA website, there's a very good tool on there where you put in various bits of information and it will bring up availability and costs/avios needed.
Anyway, back to your question; I wouldn't discount parts of Asia, Thailand/Hong Kong/Singapore all have what you're looking for, although the flights are long at around 12 hours each way and will be expensive and if you're looking for reward flights, you may find very limited availability, this is where the BA tool will be really helpful.
I would also consider Cape Town, as February will be warm and sunny and there are some fabulous things to do as well as gorgeous beaches. Flight times are around 12 hours but there's no time difference to deal with. We did 10 days there a few years ago and would love to return.
Or the Caribbean, Sandals have a 2 for 1 offer on - ends today though - which have some good deals, we've booked St. Lucia for 11 nights in September. If you miss out on this offer, there may be another one later in the year, I'm not sure how often these deals come up.
Would agree HK, but remember that CNY is from 10th Feb next year so few days around that to avoid. It only takes one tree to make a thousand matches, it only takes one match to burn a thousand trees. As well, the cars are all passing me, bright lights are flashing me.

I'd do a week on various safari's in Tanzania/Kenya and a week on the beach afterwards.0

I'll tell you what though, I've got some friends visiting Scotland at the moment, that wouldn't be a place on my list.

Scotland is like a gorgeous painting in a foggy room. Every now and again you get to see its real beauty, but you soon get bored since it has nothing else to offer.
If we're talking about pointless countries though, I'm surprised no one has mentioned Wales. If Jeff Capes got his saw out and cut it from England would anyone even notice?
I mean other than something to look at from the air en route from England to Ireland does Wales really have any other purpose?0 -

Somewhere to keep the Welsh0 -
They drown a few villages from time to time to provide water supply to Liverpool and the North West
You see, even Wales is useful for something

it prevents a lot of nasty rain and snow getting as far as England
The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0
