You initially stated that the problem with your van was that it wouldn't start. Has the garage now fixed it such that it will, to allow you to drive it away, or are you planning to 'sneak' into the garage with another vehicle powerful enough to tow your van away???0 -

Sneak? How about this 1, a friend of mine took his jeep to a main dealer because it wouldnt start, thought take it to the jeep tech because they know what they are doing, they didnt fix it and he had to pay £650 to get it back,he then took it to a back street garage charging half the price an hr and they fixed it for £180.he put this to the other garage and basically got a load of !!!!!!!! back of them and never saw his £650 again.Do you really think if I pay them and the same thing happens to me Il get my money back?An give a rest with this told what I want to hear cxxx thought this was a forum somwhere to put across your view?0 -

I meant 'sneak' in the sense that the owners of the garage are hardly going to let you just turn up and take the van away if they see you, are they?0 -

Its parked outside, look I just dont want the same thing happening to me as my friend and be in a battle to get my money back, what I need as you very well put and posted in the other thread is some legal advice0 -
So pay for a lawyer then.
You owe the garage the cost of the analysis (time) and labor charges at least.0 -

I believe you would actually be in the wrong if you were to take your car as they would have a lien on the vehicle which would prohibit you taking the car until the debt is settled.0
