For you anything dear Robin. I can manage with just a couple of bikinis & sarongs, which fits into my hand luggage, so you two can have the other case x

    :D

20 days - slightly different reason for my count down this year to last :)

    Thanks

I had a good weekend with very little work and plenty of rest

Saw my little people today which as always brightened my day.

DGD2 was in a bit of a bad mood but still managed some hugs, kisses and giggles in between the strops

DGS was also in a bit of a bad mood this morning and wouldn't come to me for long but made up for it this evening by bouncing on my lap, smiling his beautiful head off and as normal touching my face over and over

Didn't see much of DGD1 so picking her up on Thursday so we can have some quality time together on our own

Tired this evening, be so glad to get this operation done - 20 days to go

Work tomorrow, only 10 working days left and 4 of those are from home, be good to get them out of the way

New signature for now is these 2 countdowns

    Granny x

Btw still £20 in purse, £25 in savings and not o/d - pay day on Thurs so looking good

    D day -20

    Work days 10

DD told me last night she's got a fun surprise for me when I arrive. Wonder if it's as fun as the one I've got for her - size 14 jeans & bikini :D

Just 19 days until I arrive now

Pulled the cases down from the attic yesterday so I can start packing and checking I don't need anything. Taking mainly maxi dresses, swimwear, workout wear and a couple of sun dresses with me. Still need to decide what to wear to travel and what to pack to change into to see her. OH told me not to wear my coat as it hides my new shape too well :)

Loved your OH's comment about the coat :-)
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

    Thanks Lucky, I'm hoping so

Satch, I couldn't stop smiling when he said it. So out of character for him, so pleased me all the more.

It's a new coat, bought in the sales so a bargain, size 16 and already I've got room in it.

So 17 days until I leave & 18 days until I get there, leave on the 17th evening, arrive on 19th morning, (I lose a day in flight).

On looking through my predators paperwork 3 of the 5 are on 12/18 month agreements. Just H3llifax and T3scO likely to write while I'm away and even then it's towards the end. So I've decided not to muddy the waters and leave them alone until I get back. I do get statements from them so OH will have to deal with those but I'm going to give him a list and tell him unless it's a contact us letter, to just put it in my box for my return. DS is going to come over and scan & email me anything I need to see periodically.

MOT & car insurance both expire while I'm away but going to get OH to MOT before I go and then I can deal with car insurance from Oz. New rules mean I can't let insurance lapse for the last 3 weeks, (as OH could use my car), which is annoying. Car isn't worth much so insurance for driving necessary but not for protecting car.

It's very cold here today but the sun is shining. OH is working this afternoon instead of tonight and I'm going to be busy sorting my things for Oz. No need to venture out today. I'm hoping on having a quiet week this week as next week I'm a witness for a crown court case, remnants of work, and may not have much time to myself.

DS etc go away to the holiday I bought for them for Christmas on Fri 13th and as they are fairly local im going to go and spend a day with them on 15th. Having my hair done on 16th and then it's all go.

Can't believe how quickly time is flying.

    Have a good Sunday all
