Hello lovely Granny, I've decided I'm going to do 17 star jumps of joy for you every hour today (max 6 times today), 16 tomorrow, 15 the day after etc (but increase the number of times per day) to help you count down.
(By the time you leave I will be fitter and hopefully 3lb lighter;))
    Have a lovely day :)

    Thanks Beanie

Dress bought cost, wait for it, £7. OH was shocked, told me not to be daft and to buy a more expensive one. I said, don't you like it? He said, it's lovely but I wanted to buy you a nice one. LOL, what he meant was it didn't cost enough. I explained I'd rather pay less as I don't really want it to still fit me by the end of the year. Deal reached, dress bought and £50 given to Granny to treat herself when she sees something she really wants. :D

    DGD2 loved it :)

DGD2 came out of school beaming. She'd been the star of the class today with a list of accomplishments on a certificate. OH bought her a Drs set from Asd^ to say well done.

DGD1 was worried that I wasn't back from Australia yet! Bless her, she looked quite dismayed when told I hadn't been yet.

DGS was full of chatter and smiley, chocolaty hugs when I saw him

DDIL was feeling glum so I stayed chatting until 11pm. She seemed happier by the time I left. OH said he thought id got lost on the way home, didn't think to ring my mobile to check though! He knew I'd planned on staying for a chat as id told him this morning that I thought she was a bit down. Surprised he listened though.

Seeing all bar DGD1 again tomorrow as thought DDIL and I, plus 2 littlies could go for a walk in the crisp outside air to cheer her up a bit. Packed lunches and coffee for us will mean it's a low cost event, probably to the big park.

    Night all

Grandad sounds much more mellow than he was, even a few weeks ago? Great result on the dress plus funds for another when you find it, Granny. :T
Also sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday, and well done for cheering-up DIL too. :)
    Happy D-Day minus 14! :D

Thanks Lucky, I wish you lived closer too. Heading out to meet her now x

Thanks Robin too. He's been pretty nice since we went away, but then time away together always brings us back where we should be. He was appalling just before we went

I also think he knows how much he's going to miss my company for the next 3 months.

    I know - 14 days - how exciting is that :j
