Thank you all, Mum and little one are doing well. He is absolutely gorgeous. He has a strong pair of lungs on him and has settled into the family as though he's always been there.:D

I bought the DGDs a new soft toy each for when he was born and they love them. DGD2 decided 'my no want this, my want that' pointing to DGS in my arms. So sweet. She tells anyone who will listen about her 'bwutha' :kisses3:

It has been an exhausting week but pleasurable at the same time. :D

My health has improved since the dr put me on tablets. I'm on a low dose, to be increased in a week. However as I feel improved already, I'm considering staying on this dose until we do further blood tests in 2 months. :)

Had a long chat with big boss on Thurs, he was so supportive and genuinely concerned. He offered me the use of his holiday cottage in the lake district in the autumn. I'm considering taking him up on the offer. He told me to take it easy in work as my health is more important. It mirrors what HE said tbh and has really made me feel valued. He isn't going to refer me to occupational health, saying he's got no cause for concern at the moment. I wasn't too bothered about that anyway. :T

Another nsd yesterday. This month has been a bad one spending wise but some of it couldn't be avoided, some of it should have been though :o I wouldn't be surprised if there is no decrease in my totals this month. Still I'm going to put it behind me, get back on the wagon and proceed in the way I was going before this blip. Hopefully I haven't done too much damage

That's all for now, hope you all have a good weekend

  • Just caught up with last few pages. Congrats Gx3! I'm so relieved for your DDIL too! Sounds like he was really comfy in there and didn't want to leave.

Sounds like the medication is making a difference, and how great to get support from your boss (I've experienced the flip side of that; glad you don't have to). Was just saying to my sister this morning how much my mood changed for the better when I started medication, and how much I hated the person I was before that. Sometimes we just need to get help, and trying to 'soldier on' does more harm than good.

Hope you're enjoying your new addition to the family and treasuring all these new memories. x

Forgive me friends, its been rather a time since i last posted, all is fine, just a bit fed up with this debt marlaky at the mo. Trying very hard to keep on the straight and narrow. :o I've given up counting nsd for now as I've no money to spend anyway :(

Had a call from l1nk today re my mbn^ debt, refused to take the call, telling the caller to put it in writing. Surprisingly she apologised for ringing and said she would write, so I have that delight to come.

Feeling the pinch this month again :(

Went to DM for the weekend, courtesy of work meeting that was cancelled at the last minute. Had a pretty nice time. Going back for the rescheduled meeting on Monday so another chance to visit.

Rang hospital yesterday, my referral was marked as standard not urgent so I was on 6 months waiting list. Lucky I rang as I managed to nab a cancellation for a week Thurs. Fingers crossed I'll then be one step closer to a solution

Other health situation is definitely improved since I've increased my meds, feeling more and more like myself every day

Purchased a groupon deal with refunded credit the other day for cut and colour. Booked today for 31st, also having nails done as its pay day and we go away for 10 days on 2nd. Cannot wait :)

DGC are all doing well and continue to brighten up my life

Hope life is well with any readers. That's all for now, will pop back soon

Hi granny we all need little treats on our road to solvency, mines a hair trim next week and my nails done before I go on my hols . Am looking forward to coming home so I can do some serious debt busting.:)

My friend has just used groupon to book a weekend away she uses it a lot.

Good start to my weekend, Mr tax man has sent me a cheque for £460,which years ago I would have been out spending this weekend, but the new me is paying off my overdraft instead.

Hope you have a great weekend.x

Do you think I was having a competition to see how many times I could use the word "weekend" in my previous post.;)
