dearest granny, don't forget he will seem extra loud/annoying/smelly/any other bad habit, whilst you feel unwell. You must get yourself to the doctors asap!
I used to be with a heavy social drinker many years ago. He would turn into a very unpleasant drunk. I took over getting his drinks for him. I would start him in normal measure G&T's then gradually water them down over the course of an evening until he was drinking only tonic. Drinking tended to make his taste buds go and he never noticed the switch. I also decanted low alcohol beer into normal beer bottles. He wasn't very bright, but at the time I loved him!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Dear Piq, thanks for your kind thoughtful words. If only I could do that. He drinks cans of lager or stout to excess most weekends. Yesterday was more than normal as the rugby was on until 10pm. I worry about his health as much as anything, although its me who's constantly unwell these days. It's really not good for him, serious binge drinking but he will not listen or moderate himself. That said, my comments yesterday wre just a mini gripe as he was irritating me. He's redeemed himself this morning by making me breakfast in bed because I've been up a lot 'peeing' in the night
I'm so tired, my eyes look like two black holes.
BTW meant to say, my favourite people are Librians x

Oh Granny can't think of anything to help other than perhaps get him to use a glass and swap to lower strength ones? But this means you running fetching and carrying for him!
Good for him to make you breakfast. Another old fashioned remedy for waterworks issues is bicarbonate of soda in water although I warn you the recommended dose of a table spoon in a pint is utterly vile beyond belief taste wise but you are bound to have this in your cupboardStart info Dec11

I hope you're feeling a little better today Granny and that the 'pit' stops have slowed down a bit. I always find it's worse at night, I guess there's nothing to distract you.Diary: Conquering Debts Once and For All

Are you feeling better granny? or are you soldiering on regardless? I'm guessing the latter in this case meaning you're just falling into bed when you get in from work too tired and sick to do anything else. Not the life I'm wishing for you.

darling granny.. Hols sounds fab...
Now on to the water works.. GET yourself to the DOCTOR right away. They need to know if it is a bladder or kidney infection. The only medicine that cures this is on prescribed by the doctor. The urgency/ nothing coming out is what worries me (and as you know I have severe waterworks issues) ask for nitrofurentonin it is approved on the NHS. Please go xxMortgage: £280,752/ £262,515.84
