So lovely to get such a warm and friendly welcome back from you all, it made me feel so comforted and wanted.

Thank you for the birthday wishes for my angels too, it was much appreciated. OH was extra kind this year which was nice and took me out for a very nice meal on our first night of holiday, which just happened to coincide with their birthday. I'd planned it that way as otherwise I was going to ask for every Friday off in March.

    1st - their birthday
    8th & 15th - holiday
    22nd - my birthday
    29th - Good Friday.

At least this way I'm working one, which doesn't seem so bad. :D

Our chat included a talk about finances and how much of a struggle I find things and how unfair it is that he gets all his o/t and bonuses. He said he'll make more of an effort to listen when I say I need help in future. Let's hope it turns into action and not just words.

I struggled to get back on here last night spending the evening knitting instead.

We didn't go out after all yesterday, which is why I had yet another NSD as OH went shopping without me in the morning. He just bought a few bits and then we went shopping at Mr A this morning and then for coffee.

As he is feeling very unhealthy, he purchased lots of nice healthy fruit and veg for meals next week, so hopefully my diet will get back on track.

I am feeling 100% better after our break.

I've had a good day today, renewed OHs car insurance, got it £100 cheaper than his renewal quote plus got £65 cashback which is already tracked and confirmed. Forgot to mention that to him though :D

My 2 DC appear to have forgotten they have a mother, which has not gone down too well in this house. DD is forgiven as they don't celebrate it in March in Oz. DS however, has no excuse, he has purchased DDIL a present and cards from DGDs but not even a phone call for me. I have to say I am a tad upset and OH is pretty cross.

I've treated myself to a nice moisturiser, courtesy of OHs paypal account, he does know about that though. I've also bought him an anniversary present, so not a nsd today but fairly lsd.

I've got the girls tomorrow and have to say I'm looking forward to having lots of hugs, kisses and happiness from them both.

Hope you are all well, I'm still trying to work my way around the diaries but it really is nice to feel so missed.

    love Granny x
