Thanks for the pjs support, although I did actually get dressed today, albeit at 2pm - :rotfl:
:hello: to uptheleft hope you are feeling a bit better now. Please pop over anytime you feel like listening to some Granny nonsense. I often provide wine, chocolates or other such requests.
I had another surprise in the post today from the same company that sent me the cheque. Today I had a box containing:
2 sachets of Redken smooth lock shampoo and 2 of conditioner
2 packs of Murrays matchstick nail files
a 50ml Ponds cocoa butter
a 18ml collection 2000 primer
a 18ml collection 2000 fixer
a 3ml b-liv off with those heads
a 30ml redken colour extend radiant 10 spray
and a book of powdered papers
I've had to declare it on the no toiletries thread, although tbh I didn't pay for it and its a very welcome surprise. I love gifts, wouldn't it be nice if this continued every day for a year. I promise to share my good fortune around [STRIKE]if[/STRIKE] when I win the lottery
Anyway off to bed now as working tomorrow. No HIM though so should be an OK day

It really was and today I got a mascara and concealer in the post! Not sure what's going on at the moment but I'm loving it.
I've had an awful week in work this week, not because of anyone other than myself. I've got next to nothing done as I just could not be ars3d. Every day I'd tell myself that I'd play catch up for the day before and every day I've wasted an awful amount of time. Luckily I have the sort of job and am good enough at it, that I can mask my laziness for a bit but it doesn't sit well with me this evening. Still its the weekend now and I'm off until Wed so am going to put it out of my mind.
Was a really nice DM earlier and went out at 9pm to take DS and DDIL to a restaurant so they could have a night out by themselves. Its not often DS finishes work early enough for them to do this so when he rang I said ok. OH looked quite disgusted that I was venturing out so late, its certainly not something he'd do. DGDs are with other DGPs over night.
Sky+ box decided to play up earlier, just when OH was taping a rugby game. OMG he was so angry, he started moaning at me as though I'd done something. I haven't even put batteries in my remote yet, so not me. I eventually got it sorted for him and he's downstairs now watching the game. Not sure if he's got it all but I've come upstairs out of the way of the flack.
Yet again I am pretty glad its the weekend, not that I'm doing anything exciting but at least there is no work. Another nsd and still got my 20p

How long have you been married?
When a woman where I worked became engaged, a friend and colleague offered her some advice.
'The first ten years are the hardest.'
'How long have you been married?' she asked.
'Ten years', she replied.Targets

Thanks Mrs Happy, I've had a quiet day today, which was just what the doctor would have ordered had he been asked.
Had another NSD despite venturing into Mr T and B00ts this morning with OH. Went for our weekly cake, (although today we had onion and cheese bread) and coffee, paid for by OH.
Came home, made my no pasta lasagne, which was very yummy, for tea. Enough left over for another 2 meals too so works out really economical and quite nutritious.
Sat on the sofa, surfed the net. Sent an email off to holiday company re free 4 day break in April and knitted.
Plan to do pretty much the same again tomorrow
Q: Why was the math book sad
A: Because it had too many problems
