hiya,
sorry for the daft question but do these boots last long?
usually cheap ones collapse (sp) to one side and are no good after few weeks,
thanks,
ETA: i have bought these boots before but they never seem to last long before splitting, they didnt collapse tho,

dont take this the wrong way, but the collapsing has more to do with how you walk than the cheapness of the boot. If you walk 'inwards' then your own foot and walking motion will push the shape of the boot.
These boots have no support whatsoever for people who walk 'wonky' (most of us really!) so try to get the sturdier looking boots.
I walk with the heel pressing outwards so no cheap nor real uggs collapse. My very best friend walks inwards and has gone through 2 pairs of inward-heel-collapsing-expensive uggs!!!0 -

does anyone have any suggestions for sturdy good boots & shoes?

Personally, my Uggs have not collapsed at all whereas all other cheap boots have (Bearpaw and high street ones). I have bought some of these to try as I needed an Ugg Kit. I haven't worn them so can't comment on collapsing but I'm not hopeful!0 -
I have the same problem, walking over on one side,i think it's called over pronation...
I've done it to two pairs of Emu boots,Skechers,Golddigga & Ukala boots.
I'm not wasting my time buying UGG's :eek:0 -
thanks,
thats what i was wondering - if it was the way i was walking or because they are cheap,
i can never decide to take a chance on real uggs, i might go for those for £25, not too bad,
its a pity cos i find them soooo comfy!0 -
I have a pair of sheepskin boots my mum got me from Oz and they are still fab 6 years later except the soles are a bit slick- I don't do the inward walking thing but my sister has destroyed uggs as she walks inward.
These jumbucks are proper sheepskin from Australia and as good as the branded uggs (I have both) so I think these will last as long as any other sheepskin boots.0 -
Just ordered the long button ones. That's next years done! Last year thanks to MSE I got snowjoggers and they've been brilliant. These can be for best!Cogito ergo sum. Google it you lazy sod !!0
