Car Number Plates - Would you Avoid the Number 13?

Sectors of the Irish motor industry are asking the government to not issue number 13 car registrations. They fear superstitious car buyers will delay buying a car to avoid the ‘unlucky’ number 13 on their number plates.
We are set to have ‘13’ registrations in Great Britain from March next year.
If you were due to change your car for a new one next year, would it bother you if it had the number 13 on the number plate?
Would you be wary about buying a used car if it was a 13 registration?

Of course not, I am a rational human being not a pleb.0

Why would the Irish motor industry be interested since they are still using undated registration numbers?

This is the original article I read on the BBC News website.

Obviously I can't vouch for the journalist that wrote it but it does quote the Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI). I hope that passes your 'back that up' test. :T
Now back to the original topic. Would the number 13 on a car registration plate influence your decision?0 -

The OP's talking about people from the Republic of Ireland, who have the year of registration on their plates - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish_registration_plates
I assume you are (mistakenly) assuming Irish refers to those of us from Northern Ireland, who have undated registration numbers.0 -
