disable them, along with cyberlink task scheduler & media library services, and (in IE, realplayer and lastpass ie addons) unless you need them

Disable ctfmon - control panel, regional and language options,languages, details, advanced, tick the Turn off advanced text services, ok

Click the java icon in control panel, advanced, misc - untick java quick starter, and untick place icon in task bar

Right, a bit like my fair lady, I think I've got it. The only o4 item I have is avast, have kept lastpass as I know I use it and real player because I think my husband uses it. The commit charge total is :- 274400 peak at :- 719928. The computer is super fast. Many thanks to all that helped me achieve this, for your patience you all deserve medals.

Whilst I dont want to fill my system with rubbish again I have noticed a few things I cant do now. For example facebooks castle age heart of darkness game wont load apart for the heading. What do I do to enable certain things when Im using the computer?
