I have rechecked this as I was sure I had done it.
I'm not sure why this is happening.Using HiJack This, tick and fix these:
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [ctfmon.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exe Did this but when I reboot it keeps coming back onto the hijack this report. Did it again this morning tick and fixed it run another hijack this report it was gone rebooted checked again, it was back.
Then click Start. Click Run, Type services.msc and click OK.
Find the entries for each of the following (look for the bits in bold).
For each in turn, if the status column says "Started" click on the STOP button. Then double click on the item to bring up the Properties page and change the startup type from Automatic to Manual.
