Nothing embarrassing about Chris but I prefer his mate....A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

One more day til car-savings-pot-full-up day!
Yep. Tomorrow is Mr MM's payday and we'll transfer the last of the money into the 'car savings pot that also doubles as an emergency pot'. Plan is to sit on that money until car number 1 goes phfutt.
We have also put car number 2 up for sale today. My new job is walking distance from home and my little car just sits around evaporating petrol. On the one day a week that I need the car for an after school club that is in the middle of nowhere, Mr MM will walk to work so that car number 1 is here waiting for me when I get back from work. He is also walking to work most days too and we've saved loadsa petrol money by doing this in Jan and Feb.
Mahoosive credit card bill to pay off this month so mortgage OP will be modest but come April we should be able to start hammering it down. Can't wait.
Chuffing cold here today. Got the log burner on and all snug with JellyButt cat on lap so nice and toasty.MFW Challenge 2019 - £2,420 / £2,420 - 100% :T0 -

Hi Tilly - thanks for the big up. We can move onto mortgage OP'ing now. Can't wait to see it start shrinking!
AND.....
Would you Adam and Eve it? A mere ten minutes after we advertised car 2 on the Bay of E, someone called and asked to come round to view it. And they bought it! :j
So, tonight I get to play with the money! Suspect it will be divided up into:
savings
mortgage op

annual expenses pot for 2014
just not sure of the amounts to each yet. Car raised a total of £2050.00 which ain't bad in my book considering what we paid for it 4 years ago.
Happy days.MFW Challenge 2019 - £2,420 / £2,420 - 100% :T0
