If the stealer hadn't gone wrong they wouldn't post.

Often people put posts on asking for advice about what to do when a problem occurs, long before they've contacted the dealer.

when someone comes on asking THEIR RIGHTS that is whats given, whether you like it or not you seem to take it personal but its just giving them the answer straight.

more often than not you immediately bang on about SOGA and your interpretation of what they're entitled to, and encourage an entrenched position - exactly like you do on here when a trader tries to give objective advice.

I notice you have avoided commenting on the thread whereby you were encouraging someone that they had 'the right' that the (very) used car they had bought should behave as if it were new and that the part in question should last longer than three months (even though it was actually a 10 year old part on a ten year old car)

I dont take it personal, i just dont believe that what you quote sometimes as fact (a) IS face and (b) has any chance of being upheld by trading standards or a court of law, therefore you are setting a false expectation in the name of 'winning' an argument on some internet thread.

Its the 'winning' that seems most important to you on threads like this, not objectively helping people.

So help the op, and stop banging on about how unfair people are to the poor old dealers.

Still no comment about how used cars miraculously become made with all new parts when sold by a dealer? :rotfl:

so i "avoided" commenting on a thread but yet advised the part should last longer than 3 months, you talk some scrap. make sense and post link, because if i commented in the thread i didnt avoid it did I!

as for SOGA, i advise from what i feel in the way the OP has been treated by a dealer/trader.

im off now to trawl back through posts to threads im accused of avoiding.

i dont have a problem with trader or dealers here, you must be thinking of someone else.

    Heres the thread

Unsurprisingly, Mikey declined to reply, rather than admit he was wrong.
