Yay indeed. Would e nice mind you if they offered me a nice wee balance transfer
. I'll not close the account just incase.
Am feeling a wee tad upset. I adoremy friends as you know and I am very lucky as they are fab but there is one thing that they do that cuts me to the quick. When they do coupley things, I don't get invited. It really upsets me. I get on great with their hubies and I have told them how I feel but I have just noticed in facebook that my supposed best friend has 2 of the other couples at hers tonight for a wee valentines night. Wasn't even mentioned to me. I could cry and then I am getting annoyed at myself for being upset. So if any of you have single friends please do not leave them out as it is bad enough being the only divorced one without it being rubbed in your face
.

I don't think it was to rub your face in it, I think it was so you didn't feel left out when they were celebrating valentines. I bet they thought you would feel odd being the only singly at that sort of celebration!:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0

Im sure they didnt mean to hurt you. Add BOS to your sig. Let the world know.
Iconic, yes. Because we can all relate to you empathise and support and be supported by you. Your achevements are relevant and real and very very impressive. So much more iconic than a vapid film star with no personality who has never struggled for anything except how blonde her hair can be. So there.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
:rotfl:Och I'm over it now. Was jsut being super sensitive. I could have a man as well if I wanted one but I choose not to at the moment so I can't then get upset when they do coupley things. I was being a numptie.
SBO:D I've never been an icon before. I like .
I got my statement in from BOS today and apparently I have paid £5,815 off of that card since Dec 2011  and I managed to only paid £54 in interest. Get in. That's what I like to see.
So today poor DS has been sick sick sick. I feel pretty yuk as well but not been hugging the bowl YET :rotfl:. Couldn't go to cleaning job but DD and her BF are house sitting my friends house up there so they went round and did the house for us. DD used to do it with me anyway so knew what she was doing. They are both really skint so were glad of the cash. The owner phoned me so she was fine with it all. On top of feeling cr*ppy mother nature has come to call after 6 weeks . B^tch :rotfl:. I have gutted alldownstairs and did 3 loads of wash so I can just lie down to being ill when it happens. Now how organised am I :rotfl:.
Very misty and damp here in Bonnie Scotland. Ben Lomond is still covered in snow so I doubt we have seen the last of it.
As I said DD and her BF are house sitting my friendshouse and I said to her I bet your bed sees more action this weekend than it has seen in months :rotfl:. Oh well you're only young once and as long as she doesn't make me a Granny any time soon .
So now having a nice chilled day watching criminal minds as I have about 8 of them on catch up and contemplating whether to eat something or not !!5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Well today has been a no spend day. No nothing day actually other than cleaning up puke. Poor boy has been so unwell. He has had the good fortune of never being sick since he was a baby and the dramas we have had today :rotfl:. Typical man and reckons he's dying;).
Been great having a day at home tbh as I have managed to get quite a bit done and also watched loads of telly.
So a quiet wee night with my boy. He's lying on the couch with a blanket and we are watching Mrs Brown's boys. He is laughing away at it. He rarely sits here with me so he must be feeling really rotten. I'm sure he loves his x-box more than me5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Well DS has recovered and is eating me out of house and home
I'm happy to say. At one point yesterday I was being called Mummy again instead of Mum and he was holding my hand
D'aww wee soul. Thankfully I have managed to avoid it so far other than feeling really seedy. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
I will hopefully have another NSD today. DS wants pizza for dinner as he missed it yesterday and DD and her BF are away to pictures and out for dinner. My brother has joined slimming world with me and is bringing me some spicy chicken wings and legs down for my dinner. I will make some savoury rice and veg and that will do for me.
Nice quiet day today knitting and watching telly. I am getting right into my knitting again and am doing an Aran for my SIL's mum. I will then do a more modern one for DD and then myself for wearing over the spring. I have downloaded a pattern for an aran bag from ravelry so I will make one of those with spare wool and see how it looks. Am enjoying it again
and it stops me eating

Bye bye BOS!
Well done Mit, whats next on the hitlist?
x0 -
My next target is Tesco which is sitting at £1,690.07. On 0% for another 5 months so I want to clear it in 3 :rotfl:. Then onto RBS @ £1,747.93. Also on 0% until October. Will hopefully get that paid off too without paying any interest . My loan will be paid in June and then just 2 cards left. One at 10% and the other at 6.9%. I've run out of 0% options so I will just knuckle down and get them paid off.
I can't believe I will be down to 2 debts by October. It is so so exciting. I cannot wait until I get onto the Halifax card as it will be second last to go as I owed it over £10k at one point and cannot wait to see the back of it.It is my original card and I remember when I started this journey that it was maxed out and I was in a blind panic as I relied on that card for shopping when ex let me down and that was pretty often. I was pretty clueless then as far as money was concerned until my BIL showed me this site. I will be forever grateful to him. I think he introduced me to it to help me to save money, Little did he know I was up to my neck in debt. Never mind, I am hopefully on the home straight now and I am so so money savvy that I will NEVER be in this state EVER again and I doubt very much that either of my children will be either. They have watched me struggle and I hope it is a lesson for them. I keep saying 'i can't wait until I can use that money for nice things'. It will be such fun but I reckon I will struggle when it comes to spending as I have spent so long not spending. So long as I don't get carried away :eek:5 Year plan.
