Kids do take a lend. We all have to pitch in together for the common good at times.
You will be shattered.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Eveningfolks. Well DS cleared kitchen today and DD had done a load of washing and hung it up to dry
. Imade dinner and nothing else
well except go shopping and a full shift in work.
I think I am back to the cleaning job this weekend so I will only e doing a couple of hours on Saturday and hopefully a full shift on Sunday. I need to hurry and get this done as although my heating is working again I think it's definitely on its way out. I'm not going to fret about it as it was on my list of things to do anyway but I would rather wait until I can save for it when my CC's and loan have gone. But hey it's just a plan and I can adjust it if needs be.
Spent £35 in ALDI tonight and got lots of fruit and veg so hopefully another healthy week this week, Spent £10.20 at dentist and £2.10 on lunch. I got £25 expenses in though so I paid that off of BOS CC. It's nearly gone:j.
Forgot to mention that DD is going to Florida for 3 weeks with her BF and his family. The other day she calls me and speaks in one of those voices that only dogs can hear she was so excited as Beyonce is playing in Miami whilst they are over there and could she please please please borrow £100 from me for a ticket. You have NO IDEA how good it felt to say 'Aye no bother hen' such a good feeling
So am going to have a wee catch up and then to bed. Take care xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Evening folks. Well I had to do abit of the old raised voice tonight as DS hadn't done the dishwasher. I was told 'I've got a new game' 'that's not fair' 'no-one else's mum makes them do it' ' i did it last night' and then the classic 'are you on your period?' :rotfl:. So he then asked what was for dinner and I folded my arms, stamped my foot and screamed 'that's not fair, I made it last night, no-one else's children makes them cook' I think he got the message after he rolled about the floor laughing at my imitation of him:rotfl:. Kids . Why oh why do they forget we are way smarter than them.
Spent £1.70 on lunch as I was starving and ate my soup at 11.30. Good job it was very low fat and then just had a baked potato and beans. Had cabbage, chicken wrapped in bacon and potatoes for dinner. Massive portion again but am cold, tired and hungry today. Not too hopeful for a ig weight loss tomorrow to be honest. My brother is joining the slimming club tomorrow so no doubt the competition will begin
. Guys lose really quickly though so I will need to get going with the exercise to try and keep up with him.
Been watching supersize to superskinny and it has made me think about weight v debt. I have noticed that lots and lots of folks on here are hefty as well as in debt and I reckon there might be a connection. No idea what it is mind you - DISCUSS lol. Also I realise that I am not the type of person to head for the easy option. I will never go for weight reduction surgery ( not that heavy to be honest anyway, but I probably was) just as I would never consider a trust deed. This is a Scottish thing where apparently all your creditors get put into a pot and you pay as much as you can afford for a period of time and then the rest of the debt gets wiped. I got myself into the debt, for a variety of reasons, and I will get myself out of every single penny of it. Please note that I am not saying there is anyhting wrong with these routes, they are just not for me. Ok chat over :rotfl:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Great that you and your bro can slim together! It's made a massive difference to me having DH on board. And I'm still winning :j:p. I hope you are pleasantly surprised at the scales tomorrow.
I've just watched SS vs SS too! Re being overweight and having a debt problem, the only link I can see for me personally is my inability to say no. 95% (or more!) of our debt was me not saying no to what DH or the boys wanted, and the same goes for my weight problem - I never told myself no! In some ways though it's poles apart for me - my treats to myself were always food not clothes/jewellery/stuff etc. If it wasn't for DH I wouldn't have any debt!!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Yep am looking forward to a wee bit friendly competition and he is a fab cook so he will make smashing grub
:D
I'm pretty much the same re debt. EX left me with about £20k of debt and basically only paid exactly what he had to . I was doing okay and actually had some money as at first he did pay maintenance , well correction he actually had an earnings order on him, so I was okay. I was used to having nothing as he gambled as much as he could get his hands on and I was forever paying his gambling debts for him. So for a while I was paying everyone and I had money left over. I never thought about overpaying until I discovered this site tbh. Then he stopped paying. He moved jobs and has been moving ever since. I have not had regular payments for any length of time for years and years and thats when the debts racked up, I would use the card as I was expecting money and it didn't come so I bought on my cards. He would let the kids down and I felt obliged to make it up to them, which normally involved spending money. Crunch time came and my BIL must have realised it and showed me this site. I have never looked back since. I have had a few blips but all in all I have got stuck in and my debt is definitely getting gone. when I eventually have my wage to myself I will feel loaded :rotfl:

:(1 lb on tonight at fat club. Was gutted but then after listening to the talk I realised I have been allowing some random syns tosneak in. So although I have been pretty good if I am honest I have not been 100%. So my brother came along with me tonight and now the competition begins .
I'm watching OCD cleaners . Making me lol. How gross are some of these houses. I want to clean now
.
Only spent £1 today on raffle tickets. Checked my balance and was so excited as I thought my loan was off and I would be in the 10's but alas it was my car loan so I need to wait another day. I am so so excited about this as when I go through the next £1k barrier I will be in single figures and I reckon I will pee with excitement :rotfl:.
I was talking to my friend there about my plans for the house when I finish paying off the debt and start saving for the work to be done and I was getting all excited about that too :rotfl:. New heating is defo first. Then bathroom and then kitchen. I am going to get exactly what I want and not just do it cheap BUT it will be paid in cash. I want the sparkly tiles for my hall and kitchen floor. It is about £79 per m2  but it is fab and I love it so I am going to get it cos I deserve it5 Year plan.
