:rotfl:I know , check me out. I left a forwarding address though
.And I am fading away.................to a mountain
Hope all is well with you .
Work today and it was rather weird. I have a sore neckand I took painkillers going to bed to help me sleep. I woke at 2am and took more as I was in pain. I then took more when I got up. Well I was trashed in my work
. Absolutely off my face and just wanted to sleep. My colleagues were going to put me in the sick room for a snooze but I was mortified. I then realised that these pain killers are my mum's and are mega strong. Now I rarely take more than a paracetamol so you can just imagine the state of me after taking 60mg of codeine and 200mg of paracetamol over 8hrs
:o. It wasn't pretty :rotfl:. Good job the boss was off today but the staff found it highly amusing.
Not spent much today. In fact spent £3 on DS's lunch and that is all.
Made macaroni and low fat chips for dinner and have made up some chicken and mayo for tomorrow's lunch so pretty organised. I have also taken chicken out to make sweet chilli and garlic stir fry for dinner tomorrow night. Hopefully that'll be yum yum.
The belt has been well and truly tightened this week since I discovered ex OH stopped paying yet again and TBH I am more comfortable like this. Crazy I know to be more comfortable with less money but it is what I am used to and hopefully it will get started again ASAP and some money will be coming in again. I just need to make like Nemo and just keep swimming in the meantime5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

What a day . I do a very specialised job in my office. There are a team of us and our job is so complex that we only need to complete 3 pieces of work per day. Now this may seem small but even to get 3 bits done is hard going. So at beginning of the week the big boss had said he was disappointed in the output of our section. I have worked like a dog all week as I can't stand some sanctimonious git questioning me about things they have no clue about and I have cleared loads. Today I had done 4 by lunchtime and was really pleased but got a call from my mum's home help and had to get home as she was really poorly
so all my plans went out of the window.
I drove home in a bit of a panic as you can imagine and arrived in Mum's to find her sitting on facebook . I mean seriously. Spent the afternoon waiting on te doctor and she has a chest infection as well as a urine infection now and is on 2 sets of antibiotics. I came home after I got her medication organised and her dinner and I took my stress into the kitchen. I have now made 2 gingerbreads and a massive chocolate fudge cake tray bake. I will not be losing 7lbs this week :rotfl:. I used to clean when I was stressed, now I cook. I so so wished I still cleaned :rotfl:.
Anyway. I have spent nothing today. I forgot to leave DS his lunch money so school had to sub himand I'll need to pay them back tomorrow. DD not at school today as she has more or less left now and only has one exam to go on Friday and she will not be back again so no lunch money for her any more
.
So not much more to tell. Am now knackered and not moving again all night except to pee :rotfl:and get cake5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Hi MiT - what an amazingly small amount of interest you paid in April. I'm jealous!
Only two years to go... it will go in a flash.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Sea. The interest is very exciting. Means what I pay is actually coming off the debt for a change. That makes me very sunny. One of the 0%'s ends in September so I will have to try and get a new one then. The other one is into next year and one is on 6.9 and one on 10% so not too bad. Really makes me smile when I see those figures come down.:D
Had to give DS a £5 to pay back school and for his lunch £25 for petrol and £3.50 for my lunch as I was too lazy to take anything. I am so so skint this week as well so should not do that. I have £20 charges to pay Santander on Monday as they have removed my £10 capped charges . Will soon get rid of it though and no more charges from them after that.
I have money in my account to pay everything until end of month but I only have £25 to pay for any shopping and the kids lunches for Monday and Tuesday . Hmmm .I'll need to use my cleaning money and I may need to transfer some money over from my Christmas fund although I will do my best not to. A wee menu plan is in order I think to see exactly what I need. Fingers crossed it's not very much. I'm annoyed at ex and CSA as this is a nightmare to try and budget with this much less cash in my pocket :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:. But then again it's for actions like this that he is my ex.

This is not going to be a jolly post folks sorry. My poor mum is desperately ill again
She has been re-assessed by her carers and has to go onto more specialised carers as the ones she has can no longer cope with her. This has upset everyone as we were told she would only get them nearer the end and I am distraught. I've had to wait and help her night time carer get her into bed and it is breaking my heart. She may pick up again but in my heart of hearts I am doubtful and truth be told it's time for her to stop fighting as there's nothing to fight for now. She's done
. But how in gods name do you say good bye to your mum?? I just want to run away but unfortunately everyone is relying on me to hold the whole thing together when inside I am in bits
.
Money just doesn't matter just now but being frugal is so ingrained in me that it comes naturally now anyway.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

I'm so sorry to hear that MiT
. Nothing I can say will make it any better but sometimes you have to be brave and let them go for their sake, even though it's the last thing you want. Fingers crossed it's not as bad as you think and she perks up again, but meanwhile enjoy every precious moment you have with her. Thinking of you Xx
