Travelodge not responding to emails

It will be the card company who have not verified the booking not TL. They presumably will not accept you as the card has not paid the charge as it is unverified."If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools"

You are getting the same scripted rubbish responses that i am. Their system booked a double room when i requested a family room and they keep saying they will give me a credit but the same as you the price has gone up. Why should my weekend cost more because of their computer system. I have rung numerous times and got no where as no one calls you back.
Money savers - any advice where to go next, is t here some governing board we can write to or does anyone have the name and address of the CEO???0 -
You could try Googling for Chief Executive, Travelodge. It won't get you a phone link but his name and address should be enough for a Signed For letter.
Then again, if he's spending a lot of time in Dubai, Signed For isn't available. . .
Easier than that just look on their website

I travel a lot and use Travelodge between 30-50% of the time.
There are good ones and bad ones.
The worst ones for service are the centre of big cities, which I beleive is becasue:
- there a lots of other hotels around so the hotels compete for staff
Thus I think this gives higher turnover and poorer service.
Also I think the nature of the area gives rise to a different clientel and so the travelodge will suffer more abuse from those who stay.
If you are in a big city, try one in the suburbs where the staff are more likely to live nearby and there is less competition for staff.
Also look at the pictures of the travelodge to gain an idea of the age of a particular travelodge. So if you have a choice you can pick the newer one.
Premier Inn also suffers from some of the above but not to the same extent as the Premeier Inn room rate is higher and the Premier Inn fit out is to a higher spec.0 -
After staying in their Dartford one - never again.
Horrible.
LinYou can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0 -
I recently stayed at the travel lodge in Manchester (Sport city) just on the outskirts of the city for one night. Upon arrival it looked nice enough but the when we entered our room it was abismol. The room had little light and was extremely dingy but fair enough this is not a major problem, however when i sat on the bed i realised this was a major issue! The bed sank, the springs were non-existent and even sitting on the bed gave me a bad back (and im not exactly old at the age of 22). As the night went on i thought perhaps it would not be too bad and i could put up with it for just one night, but NO! Even after getting extra pillows to put under my body to plump the bed up and give me some support i was extremely uncomfortable!
Not to mention the bed squeaked like mad everytime i moved (due to its obvious ancient springs, if there were infact any left).
and as if this was not bad enough, we had a group of girl opposite who decided to make constant noise throughout the night, and although the receptionist did have a word with them they continued to make noise without a care!
Completely unacceptable! I am writing a letter to them but would just like to know if there is a particular address or email that people have actually received responses from???0 -
