Well, after all the pseudo science you've spouted on here about how a glowing red cigarette end won't light a fire, you abusively claim a petrol attendent can trip over a hose and set fire to the street from a warm exhaust pipe under the bonnet?
Who said anything about a petrol attendant?
Cigarette has a temperature of around 600-800 degree's C.
Catalytic convertor around 650-750 C.
Both are hot enough to ignite petrol, BUT it's about surface area. A cat won't lose (dissipate) heat into the liquid because of it's mass.
It's stupid trying to explain this, just look it up on the web. Youtube it, I don't care to sit and argue something that's been proven time and time again and by countless people.100% WRONG Oxygen does not burn.
Petrol does NOT burn, just petrol fumes.

At the end of the day, the petrol station has signs up to state " Do Not Use Mobile Phones". It's their party. It's their rules. thelawnet is the same dude who thinks it's ok to cycle through red lights, so it's obvious he thinks it would be ok to use a mobile phone where you're not allowed to use it. The laws are made for us mere mortals to follow, not thelawnet
