It'll be fine - enjoy your sausage rolls/pie/burgers0

I use sausage meat to roll into lazy meatballs to put in sauces, I can make a pack of sausages go much further that way, and with less than a sausage's worth of meat in a portion of spaghetti sauce with loads of veg in it it still feels like we're having a meaty mealOct 2013: -12,382.89

Made a small start, now it's time to really tackle this debt!0 -
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

I wonder if you can help.
I made a vegetarian Tagine yesterday and left the remainder covered in the pan to cool before freezing it for a later date.
I totally forgot about it and it is still covered in the pan on the side.
It is made of sweet potatoes, potatoes, carrots, tomatoes and spices.
Would you say it was safe to freeze now?
I was thinking of reheating some of it for lunch today, and freezing the rest.
I am usually very hot on putting food away so haven't been in this predicament before!0 -
I have and would. The only things I wouldn't is chicken or fish. Everything else is fair game. It's not that hot yet.If you dont know where you are going... Any road will take you there :rotfl:0

As long as you reheat a portion and freeze the rest. Do not re-heat and then freeze. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

Veggie things yes, unless they contain cream or stuff that's likely to taste off or go sour.
Meat or fish, no, wouldn't take the chance as my kitchen's quite warm. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I would, yes, as long as it's piping hot it will be fine.0
-
Yes, it'll be fine.0
-
yes I would.
Unless the room in which the pan was has been very warm if not hot and the food has been in it for 24 hours plus then I wouldn't even think about it!
Do ensure that the food to be reheated is separated from that to be frozen.0
