Butter - put a wee bit in a ramekin on the worktop

Eggs - on the worktop on a wrought iron thingy

Tomatoes - a few at a time live in a bowl on the worktop. They taste so much better at room temp'.

Open jars/ bottles live in the fridge except peanut butter, honey and Marmite.

Cheese - lives in the fridge. If I have bagged some bargains then it gets frozen.

Potatoes, root veg and onions live in jute bags in the cupboard in the close.
    I'm not that way reclined

Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!

Yes - I have kept packets open in the fridge for longer and after a couple of weeks if still not eaten cold then i make a smoked salmon tagliatelle
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
  • Better still, go for a Whitby Breakfast. Three medium eggs, from the butchers, add splash of milk. Scramble in ommlette pan. Add strips of smoked salmon, with bits of wilted spinach.

    Serve on hot buttered toast

I have just seen advert on tv for eggs at some essential supermarket emporium. £1.45. what, my local butcher, £1.15.

i am also trying to live on cupboards and freezer. however, when i stock my head at the of the fridge 3 tins were daring me to eat them. two of them were sainsburys chicken breast in jelly dated nov 2011 and the other was a tin of pataks madras sauce dated feb 2012, the madras one also had a small amount of what looked like rust at the moment. is it safe to eat these or should i just put it down to experience and through them away heart breaking as it may be

Are these tins which have been opened.....not sure why they're in the fridge otherwise. If the meat products have been opened then they have to go....otherwise I'm not sure.

The sauce....again, i s it an open tin or jar?
