Nobody ever works hard their whole lives at the completely necessary but less financially rewarding jobs that prop up our society?

I don't think they're necessarily exceptions. Its not nearly as simple as you seem to think.

The same people who think every elderly person is rude will inevitably think all young people are lazy and useless when they're elderly themselves.
