51, and never done more than have a quick snip round with the nail scissors to keep the pile all the same length.

I imagine it's easy enough to remove the front triangle, but doesn't it get tricky, not to mention painful removing the ermm bits underneath?

It's done primarily for reasons of hygiene (a baby can pick up all sorts of nasties as it is brought into this world), and in case an incision is required, in the same way that hair is shaven prior to an operation. In some cases their may be the additional problem of an obstructed view :o.

Nah, slap on the 'Magic Cream' - wait 10 mins, wipe off and rinse, very slight burning sensation whilst waiting but no lasting effects.

in the last 2yrs or so of my then recently finished 5.5yo relat. i had, i was au naturel... initially, i was shaved but once the honeymoon sex was over, domestic mundanity set in and soon the sex and my attraction towards him diminished over time. since then, have been involved in a another relat. and altho' new partner didn't mind the big bush, soon found myself shaving again but this time leaving just a little 'glade' as opposed a complete desert! a friend recommended me using Veet as well as i said i didn't fancy shaving again coz of the itchiness and really, i didn't expect 20yrs since the last time i used it, that their product was so effective...! what brought it home about my bush being far too much was when i went swimming with my mum on a rare visit to the baths with her and discovered that there were just too much of it sprouting out of my too big a costume that i borrowed off hers... i had to keep myself 'tucked in'...!!

another realisation about shaving again, is that i do feel it's cleaner as well in terms of our toileting business.. don't ppl agree? i shan't be keeping this up too regularly tho', maybe once a month..

my legs don't have much hair on them thankfully, and they've only seen the razor 3 x this yr when it was hot in march and i was wearing shorts/skirts for the allotment!

Girl, you don't know what you're missing! Once you've had the guts to wax it, you don't want to go back.

I've had my armpits, calves, thighs and bikini line waxed at the same session, so don't talk to me about guts!:)

Apart from the principle of the thing, i wouldn't want to have sex with a man who wanted his partner's body to look like that of a young girl; that's really suspect, I'm afraid.

I went back, pretty darn quickly!

Its just hair, its not dirty, its not smelly, its not unhealthy, its not dangerous, its completely natural and pretty much everybody has it, what's so offensive about it?

(Also, you're a braver woman than I to call Dunroamin 'girl'!)

The second one yes, the first one no.

The 'nasties' aren't in the hair, the biggest risk is group B streptococcus and that lives in the birth canal.

So having hair between your legs is the ONLY thing that distinguishes you as an adult woman is it?

I choose to remove my hair for me, it heightens sensation and just feels more hygenic and fresh. My partner's not bothered whether there's hair or no hair tbh.
