Thanks for the laughs at the men's comments after use of veet and the lightening of the foof area . In the years I used to be a nurse the only shaven foofs I saw were on the ladies in the maternity unit . In the 70's some celebrity female , I forget who, shaved their pubes into a heart shape . This was in the newspapers . How daring ! I'm now 59 . Times have changed ! I don't really like to see women with escaping hairs in the sides of swimming cossies .

33 , i have had mine a couple of ways in the past. All shaven off, the landing strip, and these days i just keep it neat & tidy.

My pubes are also not curly anymore either.. They are long & straight now..
Mine have always been long and straight, but the hair on my head is quite wavy lol.

After reading all the comments on this thread I picked up some veet in superdrug today with a view to removing it all since summer is coming and I don't want fake tan lines lol.

It is the one that you put on and rinse off with a sponge in the shower. The packet states it is ok to use on the bikini line but not on vaginal or peri-anal areas. does this mean it can only be used at the sides rather than to remove almost everything?

I only use Magic Cream so I can't say about Veet but I just slather it (fairly carefully) all over the 'triangle' and the outer labia, and try and lie still for 10 mins. Does burn a little but not on anything internal, it's usually more in the creases of my thighs.

Of all the strange coincidences, had a guy tell me today he was concerned about the increase in salons offering waxing for men (including arms and legs) and he doesn't like it, how can men be manly with no hair etc.

Then as i was leaving 2 seconds later walked past a shop offering intimate waxing for men. Think men might need ingrowing hair solutions even more than women though so hope all these new salons sell them Tendskin or something.

    Great thread!
I like to wax but leave a triangle. I do try and wax completely underneath as I like that to be smooth but hate the '!!!!!!' look of no hair at all. I also need to wax the crack!
I hate men to remove their body hair and personally find a hairy chest and bum to be a turn on. Smooth would be just yuk and make me think of a pre pubescant boy and I like real men.
Hair does hold onto the smell of people too and detection and reaction to phermones is an important subconscious tool in the mating ritual of humans. I don't mean you shouldn't wash tough!

    Right, I'm off to wax!

I'm early-mid twenties and I trim. I keep the bikini line clear of any stragglers though. Most guys I know do not want the bare look because it creeps them out. Also, if a guy ever wanted me to wax it all off, he could do me the courtesy of doing the same to himself. A lot of guys seem to want women to tend to themselves whilst they do nothing.

I so agree with the 'more sensitive' comment. It makes sex more enjoyable.

Secondly, I can think of nothing worse than going down on a girl and getting a mouthful of pubes. Infact I've walked away from a couple because of it. We wouldn't choose to take a mouthful of the hair of their head in our mouths, so why pubes? Hence why I keep my clean shaven at all times = no lost opportunities ;)!

Pubic hair just annoys me, and of there was a cream / treatment that would zap my hair from the neck down Permenantly I would do it, regardless of cost. Hell, I'd rob a granny!

Ingrown hairs can happen occasionally and it's PAINFUL, but all options people have, have pro's and con's.

Not for one second do I think the 'clean look' resembles a child. I think if your going down on an adult woman and see its shaved and think of kids, maybe you need some help?

If I stop wearing make up and wear pigtails that my partner might enjoy, does this make him a peado? What of I wear white knee high socks, shave my foof and tell him I've been a very bad girl?

Peadophile? Or a perfectly acceptable fantasy and preference between two adults satisfying each other?

Personally, if shaving your hoohar makes you think you will attract 'sick men', maybe you should know more about them before you stick it in there face?

So a woman has to fit in with your ideal of the clean-shaven look. You could have given up on someone who could have made you very happy. :(
