I was only wondering, not actually had anything go down though I ordered a home theatre system taht was 119 2wks ago, went to order another last night and it is now 153, so there is a chance it may go back down, so I'm keeping an eye on it.0

yes you can - so long as it's within the 30 day period, you can make as many claims as you like if the price is dropped further. I did this in Dec with the musical toothbrushes.0 -

Hope this saves you a few extra pennies:rotfl:
Just noticed that my TV I bought 3rd March has gone down £30. Followed the advice in this thread and have claimed it back....not expecting anything this weekend (easter break and all that) but fingers crossed for £30 back in the early part of next year.

Sat 22nd March
Got an email on Good Friday (wowzaz) saying:
"We are happy to refund the price difference in cases where less than
thirty days have passed between the date on which an order was dispatched
and the time that an item is reduced in price on our site. Therefore I
have requested a refund of 30.10 GBP to your payment card. This amount
reflects the difference between the price you were charged and the
current discounted price. The refund should appear as a credit on your
next bank statement."
Sweet - never knew they did this...shall tell everyone i know now though.
Thanks OP!0 -

wow!! it dropped alright - down to 109.00!! had ordered 2 of them over the time,1 for us and one for son so had 10.00 refunded for ours, and 43 refunded for sons!! thanks for this as wouldn't have known. x0 -
I just came on to search to see if I can claim a refund twice? and noticed the replies above.
I bought a camera for £219 last night and it has dropped by £7 this morning... I was going to hang on in there to see if it reduces anymore but then I run the risk of it going higher I take it?? If it goes higher can i then not refund for the lower price?
I presume I'd be better putting a claim in now and watching it to see if it does it again.0 -
I too have been keeping a check on my sales during the 30 days after purchase and so far 4 out of 5 have gone down, and my claims have all been successful! BRILLIANT!!
I place them back in my basket when they have been sent; this tells me when added to my basket so gives me the start of my 30 days. You always get notification of price changes when you check your basket - so I can instantly see if it has decreased in price and pop a claim in straight away.

Logh onto Your Account - orders placed in last 30 days.
Copy order number down. Click on item to see if the price has gone down.
- "Help" , followed by "Contact us" - Customer Service.
Then Copy Order Ref and explain that you would like a refund as the pruice has dropped since you purchased.
You will recieive a very nice e-mail within a day or so, apologising and stating that the difference has been sent to your account.
And it will have been. They are very good about it - I even felt awful asking for it, they were so nice.0 -
E-mail from amazon:
"Please note that only orders placed on or before September 1, 2008 are eligible for a price difference refund under the Post-Order Price Guarantee policy. However, we do continue to offer our Pre-order price guarantee."0 -
Also if you use www.quanti.co.uk cashback site you will get 6% cashback on your Amazon shopping, including purchases from Amazon and third party.0
